Hiya, will it be possible to add single song playback support like Monkey's Audio Image Link File to FLAC+CUE? This will allow the playing of single songs from 1 large FLAC file. Since FLAC can already embed the cuesheet inside the FLAC itself, the next step will be to allow the playback of the songs individually, allowing them to be added to playlists when playing singles. Hi List, I am writing an audio player that exclusively plays FLAC sound files, with CUE sheets. It is written in Python, so it is cross-platform, and it is working very well so far. The soundfile IO is handled by the Audiere library. For metadata (aside from the CUE sheet), I make system calls to metaflac to do things like extract album art for display, and I have a question concerning metaflac.

Hi, Well - having in mind this is "flac-dev", I thought you are a developer and writing an application for that purpose is quite trivial. Anyway, CUE sheets are so simple, they can even be written by hand - the minimal CUE sheet is very simple. About the actual embedding - I haven't worked with metaflac or editing applications so I can't give you any specific advice for that.

I witnessed that the FLAC headers then had additionnals sections (one for cuepoints and one for seekpoints), but i could not find documentation how the format used to store them (frame counts for both ?). When reading the INDEX from the cue sheet, the format MM:SS:FF format is disallowed if the sample frequency is not a multiple of 75 because the index would only be approximate.
