SWAT works with Webmin but not via localhost:901
I have tried everything that I know of.
I have reviewed the services file and the swat file in xinetd.d a tun of times. It appears, via netstat that swat is listening on port 901.
However when I attempt to access it via the Mozilla browser on my Fedora server (with 127.0.0.1:901 or localhost:901) nothing happens. It just sits there.
However, if I access it via webmin (which has swat stored

Ogv file only plays in VLC / Can't be used by most tools.
Hi,
I'm new here - thanks for having me. (Sorry if I'm in the wrong place or a noob.)
I downloaded the Theora encoder sample (ver 1.1.1), modified it to encode a sequence of bitmaps, and created an OGV file.
The OGV file plays fine in the latest VLC (1.0.5), but I can't do much else with it:
I tried uploading to YouTube, and the video just comes out really corrupt:

more or less pager
R-users,
(forgive my return adres)
I've been breaking my head why R---which i find fabulous, by the
way---does not pipe interactive output through a pager (more or less),
like it does with help(), or like GNU Octave does with arrays with more
than terminal height rows.
Maybe it is my installation (Debian/GNU Linux). Maybe it is my
configuration, but i don't think so because with

substitute, eval, quote and functions
Hi,
i am working with large data frames with many dependend variables. I
want to write some functions that will allow me to quickly select
variables from the frame and plot them in various colors depending on
factor columns, possibly selecting rows according to factor conditions.
In order to do this in a nice function, i need to understand how to work
with a column name in the body of a

icecast2 seg fault
Hi,
I'm trying to adapt darkice to the current state of icecast2. As I see,
there is a possibility to stream in various formats, by specifying a
Content-type field on the source header.
When I try to log in with an mp3 source, I get a seg fault from
icecast2. The connection looks something like:
SOURCE /mountpoint ICE/1.0
Content-type: audio/mpeg
ice-password: password
ice-bitrate: 96

[LLVMdev] Parallel Loop Metadata
Hi Tobi,
Thanks for reviewing the proposal. I imagine that it may also affects your parallelization work in Polly.

[LLVMdev] Parallel Loop Metadata
Now that we have a better understanding of the proposal for using per-instruction metadata, I think that we need to revisit the "single metedata" approach (Pekka's original suggestion).
Reg2mem is indeed a problem, but the loop vectorizer can solve this in more than one way (detect or fix). The example pass that you mentioned below (the instrumentation pass), can be taught to

Shorewall 2.0.0 Beta2
http://shorewall.net/pub/shorewall/Beta
ftp://shorewall.net/pub/shorewall/Beta
Please read the release notes carefully -- there are significant differences
between Beta1 and Beta2.
If you are running Beta1, you will need to remove the INCLUDE from your
/etc/shorewall/actions file (that I instructed you to add last time -- I
know; I lied).

NONAT - Exempts the connection from subsequent DNAT[-] and REDIRECT[-]

last month i reported a problem with interrupt storms in re(4). You
can find that report here:

After that, i filled a bug report:

Remko Lodder (CC'ed) suggested me that i should disable USB code
