Docs - Structure Musings
IMHO, our big picture challenge is that multiple explanations for several topics are spread out over several different docs and pages One parameter is frequently discussed in four or more places (QSG, files reference pages, file comments, main documentation, etc.) That gives multiple perspectives, which can be good, but can also lead to at least the appearance, especially to a beginner, of

Docs - QSG & Samples Issues
Attached is file "QSG-issues-1.0.txt" containing a numbered and commented list of issues collected from contributors and recent lists activity. It might be cool to have these issues in some spiffy issue tracking system like RT or something, but for a low tech start it''ll probably suffice. COMMENTS - IMHO (no particular order): I have searched the archives for additional

[LLVMdev] WRT: function pointers + DSG
LLVM, What do I pass into the DSG in order to access the globals vector of functions that a function pointer may be calling. The code: CallInst *calli = dynamic_cast<CallInst*>(*i); std::vector<GlobalValue*> funcVect = theGraph.getNodeForValue(calli->getCalledFunction()).getNode()->getGlobals(); Doesn't appear to work... getCalledFunction() returns 0 Dave On Fri, 6 Dec

QSG
I just installed Shorewall for the first time and had no working knowledge of iptables other than a couple magazine articles prior to this time. The use of the QSG is fresh in my mind. It was the single most helpful guide of any on the site. Comments: 1) The /etc/shorewall/masq section shows the use of the third column but then says you don''t need it if you have a dynamic ip. Its

stats q: multiple imputation and quantile regression
Dear list, this is perhaps more of a statistics question than an R question, but perhaps someone could help me out anyway. I'm doing sociological research and am currently in the process of familiarizing myself with the basic concepts of multiple imputation. Eventually, my goal is to perform quantile regression on a large data set, where one non-negative discrete variable contains missing

Extracting lists in the dataframe $ format
I'm new to R and am trying to extract the factors of a dataframe using numeric indices (e.g. df[1]) that are input to a function definition instead of the other types of references (e.g. df$out). df[1] is a list(?) whose class is "dataframe". These indexed lists can be printed successfuly but are not agreeable to the plot() and lm() functions shown below as are their df$out

[LLVMdev] Status of Strong PHI Elimination?
Hello, I am implementing a code transformation that would heavily benefit from the CodeGen/StrongPHIElimination pass, but on the two bytecode files I've tested it on so far llc segfaults on both. I see there have been no substantive changes to this code since the middle of last year. Could someone please tell me what the status of this pass is? Thank you. Marc -------------- next part
