proc:::exit not firing
I have a funny issue whereby when a application exits the proc:::exit probe doesn''t seem to be firing. A customer has written a dtrace script that outputs some info whenever proc:::exit fires but on occasion (random, no pattern in behaviour) dtrace exits without outputting the data. They are running dtrace via ''dtrace -s exit_trace.d -p <pid>'' Can anyone think

The configure step completes but there is a Warning that concerns me. [LLVMdev] where define the TARGET_80387 in md file ?

Indexing Mail faster
* Kevin Laurie <superinterstellar at gmail.com> 2015.01.24 19:41: > Currently the time it takes to search 25,000mails is 4mins. If indexed how > much faster are we looking at? With a current version of Dovecot a search is pretty fast _without_ using external indexes. I have a view defined (virtual plugin) with around 22.000 messages in it, and searching the full view only takes 2.5

Random dom0 lock up
Hi guys, Having a weird issue with a Dom0. When we were running 2.6.18.8 kernel the server would lock up every 2 weeks for no reason. Its been a difficult one to resolve as there are no errors. We have now upgraded to 2.6.32.13 and the lock ups are more often. For example today it crashed in the morning, then it was rebooted and it crashed again about 5 hours later, no logs. The

bonding & vlan - kernel 2.4.18 (RHL7.3)
Hi, Hopefully this won''t be too off-topic (I''ve seen both bonding & vlan mentioned on the list, but not really together). I''ve tried to get bonding (2 x 100Mb EEPro, but will want to try on 1000BaseT) and vlans to work together, but without luck. I can get them working fine (seemingly at least - I didn''t tried bursting on the bonded port) individually.

[LLVMdev] Work in progress patch to bug 2606
The patch I recently attached to bug 2606, reproduced here, is my first attempt to solve this issue as represented by the attached test cases. To solve the foreign Module GlobalVariable problem, I modified JIT::getOrEmitGlobalVariable(...) to directly attempt to map a found "external" GlobalVariable. To solve the foreign Module Function problem, I modified both JIT.{h,cpp} and

Re: Passing env var from Apache to Mongrel
Hi Yan, If you just need to access the env var which doesn''t change like SERVER_NAME, you should be able to access it directly using "request". However, if your env var is dynamicly set, you can try my way. I use mod_rewrite to proxy to Mongrel. In your httpd.conf (you need mod_header) RequestHeader set X_YOUR_ENV your_value And in Rails access it by

[Patch RFC] nouveau accelerated on Xen pv-ops kernel
Hi, Following is a simple patch that is needed in nouveau to get accelerated X on a Xen dom0 pv_ops kernel. The kernel is jeremy's 2.6.31.6 as of 20100222. The whole gpu tree of nouveau (which is almost the mainline merge), was substituted into the kernel-tree. All components of X (mesa, Xorg-server-7.5, xf86-nouveau, libdrm) used of the same day.
