Problem with fts found against Dovecot hg; examples + trace attached
I've been wanting to try out Squat for full-text indexing for a while now, so I finally gave it a whirl. I did a fresh pull from hg. I have it enabled, but it's taking *forever* to do a query. (Using alpine, I issued a Select command for all messages with some word anywhere, which presumably caused the Squat indexer to run.) I think Dovecot is infinite looping. I thought something

arrays emerging from tapply
The code below illustrates some points about results from tapply that I find strange. I wonder if they are intended and if so why it is so. 1) When you make a table the dimnames is a *named* list, tapply returns an unnamed list. 2) data.frame behaves differently on an array and a table. Is this an intended feature? 3) For tables class(TAB) and attr(TAB,"class") both return

[Asterisk-Dev] New Astmanproxy Mailing List, and New Version 1.11
Greetings -- Many of you have downloaded and tried out Astmanproxy, a multi-threaded C-based proxy for Asterisk's Manager Interface. It has been under development since April 2005 and was presented at the Madrid Astricon in June, and will also be presented at Astricon in Anaheim in October. There has been interest in setting up an Astmanproxy mailing list specifically devoted to

Re: [iglance] iGlance audio/video pipeline
(Cross posted to speex-dev from iglance) Enzo -- I haven't tried the fixed point engine, though I've considered it for the WinCE port. For the desktop/laptop edition I'm assuming the slight short->float conversion cost will be made up by the improved performance of the floating point implementation. But I could be wrong: 1) Can anyone recommend whether Speex performs better

[Bridge] [evb] RE: [PATCH][RFC] net/bridge: add basic VEPA support
Paul, I also think that bridge may not be the right place for VEPA, but rather a simpler sw/hw mux Although the VEPA support may reside in multiple places (I.e. also in the bridge) As Arnd pointed out Or already added an extension to qemu that allow direct guest virtual NIC mapping to an interface device (vs using tap), this was done specifically to address VEPA, and result in much faster

noobie questions
Should I actually have a "radiofree.ogg" file being written on my Linux box? If so, I don't see it. I'll try a different player as well. --- Kerry Cox <kerry.cox@ksl.com> wrote: > Winamp3 is broken according to some posts here. Try > Winamp 2.91 or the > latest XMMS. noobie questions
Just a note: This is similar to the problems I am (still) having. I too am using Redhat9 (Icecast2 and Ices2). I've used Winamp2 (Zinf tells me the data is corrupted), but instead of the high-pitched noise you describe - I get dead silence. Of course, everything leads me to believe that the connection is healthy and the stream is working. There's a

Samba authentication to Kerberos via OpenLDAP, third and last try
So far answers I've received on this list have been inconsistent at best and downright inaccurate at worst. I'm going to try one more time and see if, at the very least, someone can give me a lead. I ask you to consider what I'm asking remotely possible, and then seek a solution. (Particularly before one blasts off an ill-thought out message that says simple, "Can't be

That is set up via the config file and is used for accessing the stream. I do not believe there is ever any static radiofree.ogg file created. It is used for streaming purposes only. Though I could be wrong. I just have never bothered to look. Someone correct me if I am. KJ On Fri, 2003-09-12 at 16:14, Jeff Ousley wrote: > Should I actually have a "radiofree.ogg" file being >

Adtran TA750 MWI problem
I recently set up Asterisk with an Adtran TA750. All is well except the phones do not show the MWI. I have configured zapata.conf properly, as all phones will receive a stutter dial tone if there is a message waiting in it's assigned mailbox. Does anybody know how I might fix this problem? nscd
Has anyone had problems accessing random websites since going up to 6.4? Since about the day after I got partly upgraded, if I try to access nytimes.com, or orbitz.com, I get server not found. With a lot of work, I, my manager, and the other admin, found that setting options edns0 in /etc/resolv.conf fixed it - I suspect that the network folks updated their internal nameservers (which are M$)

telantek.adsi
I am working with the telantek.adsi file, and I was wondering how I would create a softkey for Transfer. I tried making a key definition and using SENDDTMF "#", but that didn't work. Is there another way I could do this? Also, does anybody have any ADSI scripts for use with Asterisk that they would like to share? Thank you for your time. __________________________________ Do you
