Samba-4.3.11 Roaming profiles on FreeBSD10.3
I am unable to get roaming profiles to work. I have turned on
debugging and I believe that I have narrowed down where in the log
file the problem is reported. However, I do not possess the knowledge
necessary to understand what is going on.
The situation is that assigning a new user the profile:
//DC/PROFILES/%USERNAME% does not produce anything on the DC's
filesystem. However, using the

About numerical accuracy: should there be a rational number class for fractions?
Hello, useRs.
I was monitoring the recent thread about the numerical (in)accuracy of
the C pow function and the apparent mismatch between R and matlab.
That particular problem has been addressed, but it seems there are
many others awaiting. I'm wondering if there is advice for package
writers & prospective R contributors about avoiding the most common
sorts of numerical mistakes. Has

[LLVMdev] RE : svn trunk comilation error
Hi Rinaldini,
You probably need to illustrate what your enviroment is, what revision you
checkout and how you build LLVM. I have no problem build LLVM svn here. Have
you checked tools/llvm-config/LibraryDependencies.inc is exist?

[LLVMdev] RE : svn trunk comilation error
Hi,
Sorry I did not precise that, but I'm already doing that...
I have, as you say, two different director, one for source and one for build (where I run my configure)...
Cheers

How do I enable sieve trace debugging?
Hi all,
I want to enable trace debugging for sieve. Most specifically, I want to know what sieve scripts are running, and whether they?re doing anything.
I cannot get anything other than dead silence from dovecot with respect to sieve.
I have tried the same as asked in this question: https://unix.stackexchange.com/questions/550618/dovecot-sieve-trace-does-not-create-a-log

openssh-2.1.1p2 problem and fix
Hi all,
trawled through the archives and did'nt find what I was looking for so here goes.
This may be common knowledge or may not for the developers here ... maybe
it will save someone some time anyhow.
I'm running Redhat 6.2, **2.4.0-test1 kernel**, openssh-2.1.1p2.tar.gz, openssl-0.9.5a.tar.gz,
with these options.
sh configure --with-tcp-wrappers --with-md5-passwords

AsterFax
Hello,
Have any one had any success installing asterfax.
Have installed and it seems like its working, it accepts the fax that
was sent via email, dail's out but then just freezes.
It then complains about rcfax that needs to be batched or it closes
asterisk down.
Any advice.

Which GUI for ACD edition ?
Hello,
I want to safely delegate ACD edition to a system administrator who has no
knowledge of Linux nor Asterisk.
More precisely, I want him to be able to edit and change menus such as :
"Type 1 for management; 2 for support; 3 for sales department".
I could teach this administrator what Asterisk config files are but I'm
wondering if any GUI exists for such task (editing a vocal

winbind stops authenticating until a restart.
About a month ago, I setup a Windows 2000 native-mode domain, and had
a couple of Linux machines join the active directory. I followed the
steps outlined in the Samba 3.0 docs regarding winbind/PAM/NSS. The
machines joined the domain fine, and 'wbinfo -t', as well as 'wbinfo
-u/-g' and 'getent passwd/group' return expected results. Connecting

winbind/kerberos with multiple DCs fail to authenticate.
While testing the latest Samba3.0.0beta3, I notice that if I don't
specify a password server winbind appears to look it up via DNS, and
with two DCs, picks one. However, my krb5.conf specifies a particular
Kerberos server (one of the two DCs), and so occasionally, winbind
will pick the first DC, and kerberos uses the other.
When this happens, I can't seem to connect to any shares on the

AW: How do I enable sieve trace debugging?
Hey,
? nice, thats my question :D
If I remember correctly a log was created, but not under var/log but in the home directory of the mail user. For example /var/mail/user1/sieve.
And not everything was logged, only serious errors. But I can not remember exactly what happened...
we have solved this with sieve extprogramms and the - ubuntu - logger

I'm evaluating two replacements for UPS upgrades to my dept. Because
the CyberPower OP650 has been retired, we are evaluating the

others.
Initial configuration and communications are established via the
usbhid-ups driver, the gambit of tests are all passed with the
exception of one. I seem to be failing
