Theora support in ffdshow a ffvfw
Hi, I'm developing ffdshow and ffvfw codecs for Windows. You can read more about them at http://cutka.szm.sk and http://sourceforge.net/projects/ffdshow. Stéphane Bérubé asked me recently if I could implement Theora support. I knew about first Theora release, downloaded its sources and tested it. I liked the results add decided to support it. I implemented encoding functionality into ffvfw,

My employer is releasing an image file format as open source, and I want to release it under a license that both free and commercial software developers are comfortable using. I looked at TIFF and PNG, two examples of "free" image file formats that have been widely adopted by both commercial and free software. Both have

Change winbindd UID mapping
Hi, I'm running Samba 3.6.6 on Ubuntu Quantal. I have a need to manually assign some of the UID mapping on a samba domain member file server. I have used tdbtool to add the correct mapping record to winbindd_idmap.tdb.
