Hi, I am trying to install llvm 2.5 in my PowerPC machine. I have already installed XCode Tools 2.4.1. I can compile programs using gcc run them. I try to configure llvm 2.5, the configuration aborts with following message: checking build system type... powerpc-apple-darwin8.11.0 checking host system type... powerpc-apple-darwin8.11.0 checking target system type... powerpc-apple-darwin8.11.0

Installing from source missing -lruby18 in linking.
I am trying to build wxruby from source, but I have encounter an error. For some reason the ''rake'' command fail when it tries to link lib/wxruby2.so because it is missing missing -lruby18 resulting in errors like wx.cpp:(.text+0x1618): undefined reference to `rb_intern'' wx.cpp:(.text+0x165c): undefined reference to `rb_eNotImpError'' wx.cpp:(.text+0x1666):

beta 10 candidate checked in
I have checked in all the latest into CVS and am going to start the test suite again. if all goes well I will probably release this as beta 10. this one should have all the configure stuff working with the new assembly infrastructure. I have tried to make it as easy as possible to port routines to assembly. all that's really needed now is to write the corresponding routine for a specific

[LLVMdev] Add --program-prefix support with AC_CANONICAL_TARGET override.
Adding --program-prefix support to the autoconf build has been an adventure. A patch was applied. It worked on the usual llvm bots, but failed on other bots with different configure options. The patch was reverted as it broke on bots specifying --build, --host, and --target in configure. An option is proposed here to change the behavior of program-prefix to it's normal behavior when

[LLVMdev] RFC: MCJIT enhancements
Hi Paweł, Thanks for continuing this discussion. I like the simplicity of your suggestion. My only concern involves the ambiguity of what is meant by “environment”. Presently there are functions in the llvm::Triple class to access the environment as an enumeration of a fixed set of values. It seems that some non-enumerated values are already in use, but introducing possible combinations of

Yes, this appears to have worked. I can now correctly encode and decode both my 8kHz/8-bit/mono sample, and a 44.1kHz/16-bit/stereo sample on Debian/alpha. Attached is a patch which combines this fix

help cannot put multiple chart Stacked Bar (from PerformanceAnalysis library) in a single plot
Hi I'm having problems displaying multiple chart.StackedBar from PerformanceAnalysis library on a single plot. I've tried using par(mfrow=c(2,1)) but that doesn't work. If I do it with barplot(), it works fine and I see both plots on a single plot. > plot(mfrow=c(2,1)) > barplot(blahblah) > barplot(blahblah) However if I try to use chart.StackedBar, the second entry

[LLVMdev] long double type on ARM
That is from 2.5, and just because there is nothing special listed in config.gcc does not mean it doesn't work. For 2.5, the ARM port of llvm-gcc did not require a separate llvm-arm.cpp source file, so nothing needed to be added to config.gcc. It worked fine as far as I know. For 2.6, you will see that there are some ARM-related changes to config.gcc in llvm-gcc. On Sep 30, 2009,
