Speex on M3 for a device for a disabled person to use
Hi Tristan, well... if speed is really his problem (and looking at those 72 MHz it probably is), wouldn't Speek surpass Opus by far? I agree that Opus is way better, but it's sadly also using more resources... But yeah, Richard you should give Opus a try if possible ;) It's generally easier to use then Speex and also more feature rich. Yours sincerely, Ren? Sch?mann *From:*

Memory leak
I am using Asterisk 16.30 inside Freepbx, with commercial modules, purchased from Sangoma and Symphony. After a few hours my memory usage reaches 900 GB, no kidding, in a box with 1 TB of RAM. The question is: how can I determine what is causing the memory leak? Can somebody send me instructions to find out what module is killing my box? FreePBX is 100% updated. Before I contact a vendor I need

Make check failure on clone from 31 January
Hi, Apologies if this is a known issue, but running make on revision e3187444692195957eb66989622c7b1ad8448b06 fails one of the tests when using fixed point configuration (floating point is ok) on my linux x86. Note that libopus1.1, as extracted from the tar ball, is OK. Specifically, the tests that fail are in celt/tests/test_unit_mdct: nfft=32 inverse=0,snr = 85.341197 nfft=32 inverse=1,snr =

crash on lpc_restore_signal_16_intrin_sse2
Hi, VLC recently migrated to libflac 1.3.1, however we had to revert to 1.3.0 as we had crashes for most FLAC files on the Windows desktop platform. More information is available here: https://trac.videolan.org/vlc/ticket/14104 Best, Tristan

Username mapping
Hello. We're using dovecot with mysql for authentication, with postfixadmin for the admin web interface. We are moving users from passwd file usernames to email at domain style logins. Is there a better way to allow both sets of usernames (old and new) to work with dovecot than by adding extra copies of rows to the mailboxes table and changing the username? i.e. does dovecot support some

[PATCH] float_cast: Fix MSVC ARM build
_WIN32, WIN32, WIN64, and _WIN64 are the wrong definitions to be gating this on in the first place. They aren't at all meant to be x86/x86-64 specific. At best, they're 32-bit/64-bit specific, but that's not the intended use in the code. The correct definitions are _M_IX86 and _M_X64, as Martin said. I sent a patch to this ML that fixed these a few months ago but it was

Speex and the ARM7 Core
Hello, I'm sorry if this is not the correct place to ask this question but what I'm looking for is any data on the reality of Speex working on an ARM7 core? I'm looking at doing a few diffrent projects where I will be using a proc such as the LPC2378 with the ARM7TDMI-S core running at 72Mhz (although errata show only 60Mhz is currenlty possible). Do you know if there is a port

OPUS on Cortex-M4
Hi, I would like to use OPUS codec to compress and decompress an audio stream for full-duplex intercom application; I would like to use a microcontroller equipped with Cortex-M4 core without NEON running at 72MHz. Does the OPUS codec works fine on that architecture? Do you have some benchmark data? Thank you in advance. Best regards. Daniele -------------- next part -------------- An HTML

IBM x3755 M3 + Qlogic Fibercahnnel- Virtualization Friendly?
Hello Everyone, Whenever purchasing hardware we make it an effort to validate OS, driver and now hypervisor compatibility. Being a low budget company, we really look for the best bang for the bug. Right now that happens to be: x3755 M3 brandishing the AMD SR5690 chipset. We plan on installing a QLogic fiberchannel and a graphics card that support PCI passthrough. Before doing anything we are

Can CELT / libopus on a ARM cortex M3 or M4 (fast enough ?)
Hello everyone, For a private project I would like to make a new Internet Intercom device (for my kids and me). At the moment I use a separate DSP with Ogg/Vorbis (VS1053) but I like a challenge ;-) Is a eg. ST32F10x (cortex m3) or a new ST32F40x (cortex m4) powerful enough to do encoding and decoding ? Any existing projects to learn from? Thanks for your time, Edwin van den Oetelaar

[LLVMdev] arm cortex-m3
Now that there is good thumb2 support in the ARM backend, would someone please add "cortex-m3" to the "-march" list for the ARM backend. This should produce pure thumb2 only code. At some point, when the subsets are public, "cortex-m1" and "cortex-m0" should also be added. thanks, bagel

[LLVMdev] arm cortex-m3
Here is a one-line patch to support the cortex-m3. For those who plan the features for ARM, the new cortex-m0 implements only a subset of the Thumb2 instructions. I still have yet to see a document that details what's in the subset. -------------- next part -------------- An embedded and charset-unspecified text was scrubbed... Name: arm.diff URL:

Looks OK to me, but I don't have any Cortex-M3 docs to confirm the choice of v7-A without NEON. deep On Sun, Nov 22, 2009 at 9:47 PM, Bagel <bagel99 at gmail.com> wrote: > Here is a one-line patch to support the cortex-m3. > For those who plan the features for ARM, the new cortex-m0 implements only a > subset of the Thumb2 instructions.  I still have yet to see a document that
