Hi, I have two systems(a laptop and a desktop) connected with an Ethernet cable. Desktop is using the Internet through the laptop wireless LAN. Both systems have Ubuntu 11.10 with XEN 4.1.2 Hypervisor. I have compiled OpenvSwitch-1.5 on both the systems as well. In Linux Bridge mode both can ping each other. Problem: LINUX bridge is used in both systems and both can access the internet but as

Samba share not working
Guys, I've a simple setup where a Solaris 8 server running Samba 3.0.4 serves out a single share. User authentication is done through Windows Active Directory servers. This has been working fine with a Windows client where the user can map the share without any problems. The user has now setup a new Windows server and is failing to map the share. I can see the following error message in the

[Bug 72952] [NV94] no HDMI output, xrands claims DVI-D-1 disconnected
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=72952 --- Comment #7 from J?rg H?hle <Joerg-Cyril.Hoehle at T-Systems.com> --- I'm sure you meant attachment #92185 not the log file, but I'm sorry I've never recompiled a kernel or driver yet, despite decades of UNIX. One thing that worked well in the past with the Intel driver was when Keith put an intel_drv.so online for us users

Although a different approach was finally merged, that the original bug reporter (and several others with the same issue) confirmed also fixed the problem. >

dimensioning
I have been trying to get a feel for scaling or dimensioning using asterisk 11. if I desire to use something like a dell r320, hardware RAID, 2G E5-2420, 4G RAM and only SIP trunking using gsm (least bandwidth and no transcoding) how many calls "out" can I expect to make at one time and asterisk still be OK and responsive? Thanks, Jerry -------------- next part -------------- An HTML

Adding Berkeley DB to Asterisk 1.8 and above
All; I'm working on a project (using Asterisk 1.8, but 11 would probably work just as well) where so far I've been able to originate over 1,000 concurrent outbound faxes. I have no problem with that so far. Where I have the problem is that Asterisk is dumping core after the faxes are sent. Now two things happen after the faxes are sent. (1) A fax log similar to a CDR is written to

New global ACL mailbox pattern feature in HG
Hi, I played around with changeset 9376bf098692 a bit. Right now I'm unsure how to describe a namespace using this feature. Using something like 'Public/*" doesn't seem to work while 'Public*" does, but would also potentially alter non-related mailboxes elsewhere: $ cat global-acl INBOX owner lrwstiekxap Public* group=PublicMailboxAdmins lrwsik Regards Thomas
