Problems with Speex Resamplers
Colin,
If you're using stereo audio with the resampler, there is a bug that can
occur under certain situations (and maybe that's what's been happening
to you). Check out:
http://lists.xiph.org/pipermail/speex-dev/2009-August/007406.html
With that patch, I've used the resampler extensively in many situations
without any problems.

Problems with Speex Resamplers
How much latency are we talking about? It seems that this issue cannot be
easily pinpointed, but if it turns out to be related to the Speex Resampler
let me know and I will put it on my task list.

Problems with Speex Resamplers
If you can produce a simple minimal repro that exhibits this issue on some
procedural signal (sine wave, etc) I'd love to look into it some more - I'm
maintaining a hardened version of the Speex Resampler and would be very
concerned if this bug made it into production.

Speex Resampler quality
Hi,

Can you provide me links for any more effective tools other than PEAQ?
Which is more reliable for Speex resampler?

bug fix for speex_resampler_reset_mem?
I'm using resample.c from speex in my project, and was testing it by
processing the same waveform twice, with a reset() call in the middle,
as follows:
short *input_data = read_waveform_as_linear(infileName, &rate,
&num_samples, &num_channels);
SpeexResamplerState *state = speex_resampler_init_frac(num_channels,
in_rate, out_rate, in_rate, out_rate, quality, &error);

Bug#669005: uninstallable on sid (might just need require a rebuild)
There were no usertags set.

totem fails to open .wmv file
Hey All,
Totem has stopped playing .wmv files recently. I don't know exactly
when this happened, but I know I've played .wmv files not too very long
ago. I've got 372 .wmv files all of which I've played at one time.
When I try to launch any one of the .wmv files from file manager totem
pops up but the controls are not functional.
If I start totem from a terminal there is no

【SPEEX】 use speex resample make noise
Be aware that inlen is an in/out parameter. It tells you how many
samples the resampler read. That number can be smaller than what you
passed -- in which case it means you need to buffer them and give them
to the resampler again in the next call.
