LIBCRYPTO?
Hi all,
I have a question about OpenSSH configuration. In Makefile there is defined
LIBS=$(LIBCRYPTO), but the problem is that the version of OpenSSL that I'm
using holds only the version LIBCRYPT. When adding LIBCRYPT to the Makefile
I get:
sshd.elf2flt: In function `key_regeneration_alarm':

[PATCH 0/5] ARM NEON optimization for samplerate converter
From: Jyri Sarha <jsarha at ti.com>
I optimized Speex resampler for NEON capable ARM CPUs. The first patch
should speed up resampling on any platform that can spare the
increased memory usage. It would be nice to have these merged to the
master branch. Please let me know if there is anything I can do to
help the the merge. The patches have been rebased on top of master
branch in

Re: Problem with Blackfin assembly optimizations -- bug in fixed_bfin.h / resampler saturation???
Hi,
when I compile with FIXED_DEBUG enabled, I get an error -- both when make tries to build testenc.o and when I try to link my app against the speex lib:
lorenz@panelmaker:~/Blackfin/tests/speex_loopthrough$ make
bfin-uclinux-gcc -c -g -I/home/lorenz/include -o main.o main.c
bfin-uclinux-gcc -gl -elf2flt -L/home/lorenz/lib -o speex_through main.o -lspeex_debug -lspeexdsp -lm

Re: Problem with Blackfin assembly optimizations -- bug in fixed_bfin.h / resampler saturation???
Hi Jean-Marc,
after some problems with getting svn to work here I finally made it. Problem is, you write that I cannot use libspeex and libspeexdsp at the same time now -- because I use a "live" system (mic-in -> speex_enc -> speex_dec -> headphone out) and I can run the AD1836 audio codec on 48 kHz only, I cannot use my program now (because I use speex resampling...)
So I

[LLVMdev] Dealing with a corrupted /proc/self/exe link
Hi all,
I am in charge of the controlled introduction of clang into
our builds at my workplace. Since all our tools must run from
a ClearCase view for automatic dependency tracking, we have been
biten by a Linux bug, and readlink("/proc/self/exe", ...) gives
nonsensical results. So we need to introduce a configure option
for disallowing this method of executable discovery (the other

[PATCH] Blackfin: cleanup astat/cc/hardware loop asm clobbers
Most asm statements clobber ASTAT bits (shifts, maxes, etc...) but do
declare the register as clobbered. Same thing with CC in a few places.
Some places make an attempt at clobbering some hardware loop registers,
but it's very incomplete compared with how many asm statements actually
use hardware loops.

Problem with Blackfin assembly optimizations -- bug in fixed_bfin.h / resampler saturation???
Jean-Marc, Frank,
I have stumbled across a similar situation regarding optimization.
I seem to have a similar setup as Frank does with a fixed 48khz in and out. The wideband mode and ultra-wideband modes are really what I?m looking for.
I have a test application that reads audio, downsample to 16kHz (or 32kHz), speex encode, speex decode, upsample back to 48kHz, and playback.
If I remove

libFLAC internals
Howdy.
I'm working on Altivec versions of some of the libFLAC functions. I figured
the best candidates would be those that had MMX/SSE/3dnow versions, and I
picked FLAC__lpc_restore_signal() to do first, since it's relatively simple.
In stepping through some runs, it appears that 'order' mod 4 is always 0. Is
that guaranteed, either by the format or by higher functions in the

Speex AEC for Coldfire
Hi Guys,
I'm attempting to use the libspeexdsp component with a Coldfire M5329. I've downloaded the speex-1.2beta3 and configured using the following:
./configure --host=m68k-uclinux --prefix=/home/uclinux/uClinux-dist --enable-fixed-point LDFLAGS='-Wl,-elf2flt'
The library builds fine (or appears to) an is placed in the subdir 'lib' of the prefix shown above; my routine

Altivec, automake
I think I've gotten FLAC__lpc_restore_signal() about as good as I'm going to
get it.
Here's what I have:
-a new file, lpc_asm.s, which has the assembly routines
-changes to cpu.h, cpu.c, and stream_decoder.c to enable them
-changes to configure.in to support the new cpu stuff
-a preliminary Makefile.am
-maybe something else I'm forgetting
Now automake complains that configure.in

Updated CFLAGS patches and make test compilation conditional
Hi Erik,
I've found a middleground for the problem of setting default CFLAGS. I've gone back
to setting them if {C,CXX,CPP,LD}FLAGS are unset at the onset of the configure script
(i.e., the user hasn't specified anything) and then proceed to set them to the defaults
as before. This has been suggested before:
