Sendmail + Deliver as an LDA
Need help with setup/config.
Current situation: (dovecot version : 1.1.7)
we have system users and virtual users. (with different domains)
Virtual users have procmail as LDA
Now we want "deliver" to become the LDA
I'm confused reading http://wiki.dovecot.org/LDA/Sendmail

Another draggable/droppable performance booster
This one is as much for Thomas as for the rest of the list (might be a
good one for the official build)... I made a change to the dragdrop.js
file that significantly improves overall performance of dragging when
there are more than one (or many more) droppables on the page.
I modified the Draggables.updateDrag method, and added another method
below it, and then in Draggable.updateDrag I

[3.0.2] booster + unfsd failed
Hi list.
I have been testing with glusterfs-3.0.2.
glusterfs mount works well.
unfsd on glusterfs mount point works well too.
When using booster, unfsd realpath check failed.
But ls util works well.
I tried 3.0.0-git head source build but result was same.
My System is Ubuntu 9.10 and using unfsd source from official gluster
download site.
Any comment appreciated!!

Can you please post the original wav?
I am not sure what Audacity means by a logarithmisch sweep.
Is that a fixed number of Hertz per

No, just fooled by the list defaults (some need just reply, others need reply
to all)

Well, I don't know what SBR is, but there's something in the wideband
mode that may be similar: It's possible to encode the whole 4-8 kHz band
with just ~1-2 kbps by only encoding the (LPC) shape of the spectrum and
then just filling that band with "something that makes sense". Quality
is quite reasonable...

Possible bug in Opus 1.3 (opus-tools-0.2-opus-1.3)?
Hi!
Playing with Opus 1.3 I converted a tone sweep with a sample rate of 96kHz (just for fun). Before I had converted that from WAV to FLAC, and to Vorbis without problems.
With Opus I noticed that the file size for 48kHz and 48 kbps compared to 96kHz Vorbis at 31kbps is about double the size and it sounds even worse (than Vorbis) (there is a lot of noise in the lower frequencies when a low

Hi!
Excuse the delay, but I had to deal with a corrupted NTFS file system that ate many important files on an USB stick...
The FLAC version of the original is almost 6MB and it can be downloaded slowly from this time-limited link:

We use Motorola v551's as "extensions" on our Asterisk system with a

poor then of course the inbound call hits voicemail. This has nothing to do
with Asterisk and everything to do with our cellular provider, but since you

Harmonic mean center of animal locations
Hello list;
I am working with a dataset containing animal locations over time for a large
number of individuals. I would like to compute a center of activity by
finding the minimum harmonic mean on a grid overlaying the points of an
animal (a "standard" to express center of activity in animal ecology).
I have searched the archives at Jonathan Barons server but have not been able

Harmonic Analysis
I am looking for a package to perform harmonic analysis with the goal of estimating the period of the dominant high frequency component in some mono-channel signals.
I guess there are presumably a number of CRAN packages allowing for such analysis. However, my search with keywords was not successfull. It brought up a lot of Fourier miscellanea but nothing specifically geared for my needs.
I would

Fitting a Harmonic Function to Time Series Data
Dear All,
I have some time series data where X=month and Y=nutrient concentration (I
can have several concentration data for one month). Is there a way to fit
for it an Harmonic Function. Is there a package, script, etc which I can use?
Thx

harmonic function fiting? how to do
Dear R Users,
I have a CO2 time series. I want to fit this series seasonal cycle and trend
with fourth harmonic function,
and then compute residuals.
I am doing something like:
file<-read.csv("co2data.csv")
names(file)
attach(file)
fit<-lm(co2~1+time+I(time^2)+sin(2*pi*time)+cos(2*pi*time)+sin(4*pi*time)+cos(4*pi*time)+

Question on harmonic (Fourier) analysis of sinusoidal time series
Hello,
I will try to explain the problem, sorry if it will be a little long...
I'm using R to analyze results of cyclic mechanical testing, like this:
- apply quasi-sinusoidal load
- measure quasi-sinusoidal vertical and horizontal deformations
(quasi-sinusoidal load means that load "should be" sinusoidal, but testing
machine puts in some noise...)
I enclose a sample of data at

Synthesis of harmonic functions
Hello,
I try to synthesize harmonic functions with a subset of frequencies
determined by fast fourier transform. I wrote two different functions, a
looped version and a matrix multiplication version. As an example the
looped version takes 5 sec and the matrix-version takes 3-4 sec (R 1.4,
Athlon 1.2 GHz, 256 MB, Win ME), but the latter needs huge amount of
memory due to the matrices. So, none of

How to find points of intersection between harmonic function and a line
Hi,
Sorry for the very short explanation about the problem of intersection.
I have a wave function monitored from the heart beat in a particular interval of
times.?Apart?fom that, there is?a line with positive slope (e.g: y = x+2) which
lies across the wave and intersect on a number of points. My problem is i have
no exact equation for?such a?complex harmonic wave produced by the heart
