2003-06-10 CVS: softphone connection failures
I just downloaded the latest CVS. RTP streams from a X-Lite on a PC, to the Linux box running Asterisk and Linphone, seem to connect: > -- Called m4 > -- SIP/m4-dd8f is ringing > -- SIP/m4-dd8f answered SIP/m12-3649 > -- Attempting native bridge of SIP/m12-3649 and SIP/m4-dd8f But then Linphone sends an endless stream of complaints: > (linphone:20223):

Asterisk+GNOMEMeeting=No Sound.
Hi all! I'm newie to asterisk and I've been trying to make it work in order to use it with Linux softphones (H.323, SIP or IAX, I don't mind) and none hardware phone. I'm using asterisk packages from Debian SID (my distribution), asterisk, asterisk-config, asterisk-sounds, asterisk-h323. I've still not tried with any IAX softphone (gnophone?) but with linphone (SIP) I've

[patch] speex AEC state save & restore
Hi, I implemented a small patch that allows the internal convergence state of the echo canceller to be saved in a file for later use, especially after a process restart or machine reboot. This enables immediate echo cancellation the second time the AEC is run. Of course this works only if the acoustic environment of the device doesn't change and if the soundcard latency is constant. To use

Running IMVU through Wine
Just switched to Ubuntu 2 days ago and trying to get the hang of Wine. I'm trying to run the IMVU client through it, but all that happens is that the login screen will come up and let me log in, but after that I get an IMVU icon in the upper right but no client to use. When running the command to execute IMVU through the terminal, I get the following: Code: env

Recommended SIP phones?
I am dying here with linphone (not sure if it is crap software or just me being an idiot) but out of the box debian installations of two linphones fail with a "Got SIP response 415 "Unsupported Media Type" back from 192.168.1.3" Can anybody recommend a particular SIP soft phone that broadly satisfies the following criteria? 1. Run on linux. 2. Simple to use and setup. 3. Is

EVE Online random crashes
Hey there, when I'm playing EVE online I get random crashes while I'm playing. These always occur while I'm out in space, never when I'm updating my trade orders. Using ati drivers: 10.11 Wine: 1.3.20 This is shown in console when the game crashes... Code: An exception has occurred. It has been logged in the log server as exception #8 An exception has occurred. It has been
