Porting Speex to embedded 32bit
Hi Jen-Marc, this news were very interesting because of what I intedd to use speex for... Can you make some personal comments about that? Were you involved or consulted about it? Will it make it's way into the official version? I remember that you commented a long time ago that the DSPIC version was too much of a tour-de-force to make it to the official version, but this is a much nicer

[PATCH v8 3/6] security: Remove security_old_inode_init_security()
From: Roberto Sassu <roberto.sassu at huawei.com> As the remaining two users reiserfs and ocfs2 switched to security_inode_init_security(), security_old_inode_init_security() can be now removed. Speex and the ARM7 Core
Hello, I'm sorry if this is not the correct place to ask this question but what I'm looking for is any data on the reality of Speex working on an ARM7 core? I'm looking at doing a few diffrent projects where I will be using a proc such as the LPC2378 with the ARM7TDMI-S core running at 72Mhz (although errata show only 60Mhz is currenlty possible). Do you know if there is a port

[PATCH v8 0/6] evm: Do HMAC of multiple per LSM xattrs for new inodes
From: Roberto Sassu <roberto.sassu at huawei.com> One of the major goals of LSM stacking is to run multiple LSMs side by side without interfering with each other. The ultimate decision will depend on individual LSM decision. Several changes need to be made to the LSM infrastructure to be able to support that. This patch set tackles one of them: gives to each LSM the ability to specify one

[PATCH v8 2/6] ocfs2: Switch to security_inode_init_security()
From: Roberto Sassu <roberto.sassu at huawei.com> In preparation for removing security_old_inode_init_security(), switch to security_inode_init_security(). Extend the existing ocfs2_initxattrs() to take the ocfs2_security_xattr_info structure from fs_info, and populate the name/value/len triple with the first xattr provided by LSMs. As fs_info was not used before, ocfs2_initxattrs() can

Freebsd-update and 6.1-RELEASE
Hi guys, Does anybody know if freebsd-update is going to be available for 6.1-RELEASE before the end of Colin's "summer of FreeBSD work"? I wouldn't like to bother Colin directly via e-mail, so if anyone already asked for this or something.... Thanx, regards -- Pietro Cerutti <pietro.cerutti@gmail.com>

acroread security problem
Dear all, I think there's a security problem with the acroread plugin for firefox. I'm using sysutils/pwsafe to manage my passwords. A feature of this tool is that it can copy the requested password to the X clipboard, allowing the user to paste it (eg. in a password box), never seeing the pass in clear. When I load a PDF document in Firefox, the acroread process lives on even after the
