some questions about speex on TMS and also unsubscribe
Hi;
I have a question about speex on TMS320C54X:
I have build and run the related project on Code Composer Studio IDE (ver. 3.1) and the male.snd (93.7KB) was its input file and malebits5x.dat (5.85KB) and maleout5x.snd (93.5KB) are output files. What is malebits5x.dat file? if it is encoded file, why I could'nt decode it?
Also if maleout5x.snd is output recoverd file why after

Using Speex on OMAP5910 OSK board
Hello,
I have an OMAP5910 OSK board with C55 dsp and ARM9 processor. I just want to
use speex as a simple application on the platform in order to check dsp's
working well or not.
First, I found speex's source codes include "ti/speex_C55_test" directory so
I thought speex could run on my platform well.
Second, I open "Code Composer

Hello,
I'm having some trouble compiling the latest samba. Even using
"--with-gnu-ld" as a configuration switch it still wants to use the
Solaris-native ld. Of course, the gcc from SunFreeware says as much:

[PATCH 00/28] ia64/xen domU paravirtualization
Hi linux/ia64 developers.
Few days before Eddie posted the mail for Linux/IA64 paravirtualization.
But only a few responded partially because there was no reviewable patches.
Here is the patches for xen/ia64 Linux paravirtualization.
The goal is to merge IA64 xen Linux paravirtualization for both domU and dom0
eventually. However the first step is to merge domU portion.
As you can see from the

[PATCH 00/11] Xen arch portability patches
Hi. Recently the xen-ia64 community started to make efforts to merge
xen/ia64 Linux to upstream. The first step is to merge up domU portion.
This patchset is preliminary for xen/ia64 domU linux making the current
xen/x86 domU code more arch generic and adding missing definitions and
files.

Voted most stable and easy to use phone?
A while back i had asked about possible replacements for snom 360 phones
that were breaking and causing issues and we all discussed the problems
we had with the 360s and some suggestions were made but the new polycom
phones had just hit the market and not many people were able to comment
on them.
Basically i am looking to get some new phones and in the process get rid
of the countless number of

Hi,
Which echo-canceler shall I pick for Digium B410P ?
Is HPEC relevant ? Reading from its datasheet, it seems related to analog
cards.

Pattern matching....
Will this work to match any number from the 770,404, or 678 area codes?
_[404|770|678]NXXXXXX
If this won't work, is there a pattern that will do this?

keeppxe and using a linux vmlinuz/initrd
Hello,
Has anyone thought about how one could use the "keeppxe" option with a vmlinuz/initrd?
It would allow one to boot this combination, and if possible the linux kernel/initrd (assuming we have busybox in there) would not have to run udhcp and instead leverage what pxe stack information is loaded. The problem is I don't know of any PXE/UNDI linux utilities to look at the pxe

corrupted index?
We're seeing the following sporadically in
the log file (single line broken into separate
lines for readability):
Corrupted index cache file
/home/user/mail/.index/.imap/INBOX/dovecot.index.cache:
invalid record size
We're running dovecot-1.0.7-2.fc8. The imap directory
is in the user's NFS-mounted /home directory, but
doveot is running on the same host as the
/home filesystem.

RE: Delegation of authentication (S4U) and SAMBA
Hello,
Does samba support the use of S4U?
What do we need to configure in SAMBA or krb5 to support getting a
ticket obtained by S4U. We are using 3.0.25 and krb5-1.4.1
We are getting the following error:
decode_pac_data: Name in PAC [username@something1.something2.realmname]
does not match principal name in ticket
The ticket could be different than the PAC name because the

Finale Notepad 2008 and GetFileName95 Flags
Hello, finale notepad 2008 is a free (as in beer) score writer program
which is fairly user-friendly. It can save scores in its own format and
as a midi file. The problem is that the file dialog doesn't show any of
the file types, it's all blank. It automatically saves in its own
format, so I'm not lost, but it's just that saving to midi makes sharing
my music easier.

CTDB and LDAP: anyone?
Hi there,
I am looking into using CTDB between a PDC and a BDC. I assume this is
possible!
However I have a few questions:
1: Do I have to use tdb2 as an Idmap backend? Can I not stay with ldap?
(from the CTDB docs:
A clustered Samba install must set some specific configuration
parameters
clustering = yes
idmap backend = tdb2
private dir = /a/directory/on/your/cluster/filesystem

Dovecot on CentOS5 - (login) returned error 127
Running CentOS Linux 5 with sendmail-procmail putting email in
/var/spool/mail. I'm running pop3 only with the servers configured to
authenticate with ldap (which is configured and running OK). I do have
this same configuration on an older FC6 box and it works fine. I'm
thinking I just need to upgrade dovecot given all the nss_ldap problems
it has had, but I hate not using RPM

T1 Timing Troubleshooting
I'm having (I think) timing issues in relation to bridged T1-T1 calls via dynamic spans. Fax calls are intermittently working, but voice is fine. My box has a Sangoma A400 inside it as the primary Zaptel timing source. My T1 PRIs that are hooked to the box come in via a foneBRIDGE2 (dynamic TDMoE spans). PRI #1 is the telco and PRI #2 is an existing Comdial FX-II. For some reason, bridged TDM
