configure lyx2.0.2 with sweave in windows 32 bit.
I am using R 2.14.1. I am trying to configure Lyx with Sweave. I have read articles but I found none to be complete and I cannot import sweave document in lyx . Can anyone please help me with a stepwise procedure how to configure Lyx with Sweave so that I can run my R-code chunks from LYX ,the output being a pdf.? Thanks in advance. -Atanu -- View this message in context:

Sweave and accented letters
I often use Lyx/Sweave and I typically write in english. Today I had to write a document in Italian and, as many of you know, many italian popular words use ?, ?, ?. ?, etc. I discovered that if I type in Italian (that is there is at least one letter with accent) with the Sweave module selected lye is not able to correctly compile the document. I tried to change the input encoding, but it

[virtio-spec PATCH 0/5] Receiving Used Buffers example code: cleanups and an extra mb()
Patches before the last are small cleanups. In the last patch I'm trying to extract / generalize an idea from Stefan Hajnoczi's review of my virtio-net driver for OVMF. Unfortunately I can't find Stefan's email on any mailing list archive (sourceforge, gmane, mail-archive etc. all have only my response), so I'll quote it here. The patch Stefan was reviewing is

serialize array finder
Hello, Not sure if this is even possible/practical but I''d like to serialize an array to a string field like this and then be able to match against it. User.find(:all, :conditions => ["interests in (?)",current_user.interests) Am I better of not denormalizing? How would this be done with ordinary A/R relationships because I''m not looking for an exact match,

Integration with LaTex and LyX
Hello, Are there any packages which allow for a good integration between R and LaTex / LyX? I'm interested mainly in automatic (automagic?) imports of plots/graphics. Thanks in advance and best regards, Eduardo de Oliveira Horta [[alternative HTML version deleted]]

[RFC PATCH v2] Adapter interrupts for virtio-ccw.
Hi, here's again my proposal for adapter (thin) interrupt support for virtio-ccw devices, originally posted at http://marc.info/?l=linux-virtualization&m=137060143904927&w=2 The document is unchanged, only rebased against current master. texi2dvi runs but produces no output
I am working on a Windows XP machine with R 2.10.1 and a recent installation of MiKTeX 2.8. I use LyX (www.lyx.org) to write documents and have it set up to run Sweave, Stangle, and make the PDF through R using a batch script and a MakeSweave.R file. This system worked just fine until I ran some MiKTeX updates yesterday. This is a bit embarrassing as I helped produce a "How-to" guide to

[PATCH RFC] Adapter interrupts for virtio-ccw.
Hi, here's a proposal to support adapter (aka thin) interrupts for virtio-ccw. The basic idea is to make host->guest signalling on s390 more lightweight. Normal I/O interrupts have two parts: an interrupt that is made pending on any of the guest cpus, and status that is made pending on the subchannel. This means that we need two exits for every interrupt. With adapter interrupts, only

[PATCH] virtio-spec: serial: english tweak
