GCC/ELF Visibility patch (fwd)
Hi, I've attached a patch against SVN r14645 which adds GCC visibility information to all symbols exported from libspeex.so and libspeexdsp.so. It includes a configure.ac change to test that both the compiler flags and __attribute__((visibility)) works, and if so will #define EXPORT __attribute__((visibility("default"))) and if not #define EXPORT I've attached a diff output

Hi, I am using the JitterBuffer. Since there is not so much documentation I think I dont use it in a correct way. All the packets are recieved (I control the sequence numbers) but the JitterBuffer often tells me he has no packet. Library export file for Win32 (patch)
This patch will export new speex functions in the generated library, such as speex_encode_int as well as the preprocessor, echo-cancellation and jitterbuffers. But I decided to restructure it since the thread that plays the sound is a callback from the sound hardware, more or less an interrupt handler. New jitter.c, bug in speex_jitter_get?

After changing my code to construct a JitterBufferPacket and passing that to speex_jitter_put, my program works with the new jitter buffer using the wrapper functions (speex_jitter_* instead of the new jitter_buffer_*). Speex on TI C6x, Problem with TI C5x Patch
Hi Jean-Marc, Hi Jim, I have also seen some problems with the 1.1.8 release on the C55x. So far I have boiled down the issues to the following: 1) We need our own "fixed_xx.h" header file. I don't know why, and haven't had time to investigate, but there is a definite improvement when I use the attached fixed_c55x.h file which has turned all the maths into inline functions.

Patch to make SPEEX_PREPROCESS_GET_AGC_GAIN use dB, and _SET_AGC_LEVEL use a int32
Hi, The attached patch fixes an incistency in my earlier patch. Whereas the rest of the AGC ctls are in dB, GET_AGC_GAIN was linear. This patch fixes that. It also changes the API for _GET and _SET_AGC_LEVEL to use a int32 instead of a float, meaning we don't need to do a API change when we get a fixed point AGC. There is a problem in speex_preprocess_ctl. Both speech_prob_start and speech_prob_continue are set to 327.67 for all input values except 0 which results in 0. This is in floating point mode. Since r12660, the speex_jitter_get with high latency doesn?t works, I have no sound. Before this release, the speex_jitter_get works in all conditions. speex_jitter_get return void, then I cannot know the reason of this problem. Hello, I think that the new Jitter Buffer have a problem. It works perfectly when I call the speex_jitter_put every 20ms (on my lan) but in other case (with big latency on Internet connexion), it doesn't works. The old version is OK in all cases. 1.2beta1 speex_bits_pack realloc issue?
In bits.c\speex_bits_pack there is logic to reallocate the bits buffer. In that section there is a call to speex_memset_bytes which appears to wipe out all the old bytes.
