Missing source file ?
Hello to all, I am trying to build speex for the Windows Mobile platform. However I am not able to build it even on Windows x86 because a source file (medfilter.c) while declared in the project settings is missing. So linker cannot find medfilter.obj and I am not able to build it. Please could anyone tell me if this is an error that I should fix manually (for example ignore the file and fix

WaveIn/WaveOut and Speex
Hello, I know my question has been asked before because I spent the last week searching the web for how to use Speex in combination with WaveIn/WaveOut and I ran into a few posts, but none of them answer the question. There is still a lot of confusion how to use WaveIn/WaveOut and Speex by junior developers such as myself. Even after examining code for SpeexDec and SpeexEnc, I cannot get clear

Linking issues (Visual Studio 2005 and libspeex.lib)
Hi, I've been doing some development for Pocket PC 2003 applications and have happened to chance upon Speex. To date, I've been having some issues in linking libspeex.lib with my application in MS Visual Studio 2005. Upon building my program, I will always receive the error: fatal error LNK1181: cannot open input file 'd:\Recorder\libspeex.lib' Recorder A brief description

FIXED_POINT warns on compute_weighted_codebook
hi, i am trying to compile a fixed point version of lipspeex on desktop windows environment. a short reason for the complicated story is that we need to keep the 'engine' part of our project same across the various ports of our voip project (blame the pointy haired boss). now, when i compile with FIXED_POINT defined in the Visual C++ 6.0, i get these errors:

Building under MSVC & MinGW
I am attempting to build the RC1 drop of libspeex for Windows with the MSVC toolchain (VS2013) and MinGW, the following is my configure line: CC=cl.exe CFLAGS=-MD ./configure --enable-shared=no --prefix /builds/Windows81/x86 --host i686-pc-mingw32 During the configure process (specifically the "checking whether the C compiler works...") I get a Windows popup telling me that the test

_CRT_SECURE_NO_DEPRECATE is new for VS2005. Nothing I can do with it in VS2003. Morten Ofstad wrote: > Jeff Cohen wrote: > >> The project files need frequent updating. [LLVMdev] VS2005 patch
The project files need frequent updating. I cannot maintain VS2005 project files, so while they could be distributed with LLVM, they will become broken fast. Also, VS2003 and VS2005 project and solution files cannot coexist in the same directories, further complicating matters. [LLVMdev] VS2005 compatibility
Hi, what are the goals of VS2005 support for building LLVM? I'm syncing to the v3 branch and while the branch compiles perfectly with VS2008, there are a significant amount of compile errors and warnings with VS2005 SP1 (8.0.50727.867 with KB926601 SP1, to be precise). I also have the latest WSDK installed. A few months back there were only a few minor issues that I managed to clear up.

[LLVMdev] VS2005 compatibility
OK, it's not that bad - it's even better than before :) The main issue is RWMutex.inc and the use of PSRWLOCK. This requires _WIN32_WINNT to be >= 0x0600, which is not true for VS2005 SP1. Rather than #define _WIN32_WINNT 0x0600 (the file notes that this should build on all Win32 variants), extending the copy/paste of winbase.h to this works fine: #if defined(__MINGW32__) ||

[LLVMdev] LLVM binaries for Windows and more
Hi! I want to use LLVM for my own "pet" programming language compiler as a backend. Currently it generates C code, but I am not satisfied with this approach as generating high-level C (with proper type declarations!) is horrible. So here are my questions/problems with LLVM: 1.) Are there operations that add, sub, mul integers with overflow checking? How much work would it be to add

I don't know. If that's all it was, why is there a special new property manager to set it? Morten will need to explain what to do in VS2003 to make VS2005 happy.
