Configuring Multiple Gateways
I'm in need of installing two NICs in a machine that are connected to 2
different public networks and I need both IP addresses accessible from the
outside. The IPs are part of two completely different subnets.
For example:
eth0
IP - 10.10.10.2/30
GW - 10.10.10.1
eth1
IP - 20.20.20.6/30
GW - 20.20.20.5
How can I configure 2 gateways on this server?
Thanks!

Problem with Postgresql
I know I am probably missing something easy here but I just installed
postgresql-7.4.16-1.RHEL4.1 and there is no init script for postgresql.
I know in CentOS 3 it was rhdb.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks!

Remtoe Install/Anaconda
I have started playing around with remote installs using vnc and kickstart
files. However I cannot seem to find a good listing of anaconda
parameters.
And where I am running into problems is with the display. Say that I am
using a kickstart file and I don't want it to establish a vnc connection
or to show progress on the console what can I provide to anaconda to do
this?

Oracle instantclient on CentOS 4.4 with DBD::Oracle
Does anyone have experience on installing the Oracle instantclient and
DBD::Oracle on CentOS 4.4.
I have been having several issues with getting the RPMs from Oracle's site
working with DBD::Oracle. I can get the oracle instant client to install
without issue. But I cannot compile/install DBD::Oracle using cpan or
cpan2rpm.
I found http://freshrpms.net/docs/oracle/ which has a nosrc rpm

Problem with Cacti and CentOS 4.4
I just for the first time attempted to install Cacti from the RPMForge
repo on CentOS 4.4.
And I have to say that it hasn't gone very well at all. I have installed
Cacti on Fedora a good 20 times with absolutely no problem.
Basically the default rrds/graphs for localhost are generated but no other
rrds/graphs are generated.
When I look at the poller cache or snmp cache I see all the data.

Looks like Fedora released a new version of Revisor, 2.0.4.1-2, (Custom Live
CD Generator) that includes support for generating CentOS5 live cds.
Just thought someone might like to know.
Cheers!

Security Hell
I have been trying to setup two samba servers on Fedora Core 2 for the past 30 hours and am about to jump out a window.
I'm simply trying to create a few shares that multiple WinXP clients can have readonly access to and a select few have write privilages. Also, a few shares that are are private for a select few users with write privilages. In all cases, anybody should be able to browse the
