Fable breaks from wine 1.1.10 to 1.1.11
Hi, I guess I should open a bug in bugzilla. Some questions: I installed 1.1.10 and 1.1.11 through PlayOnLinux. Does this make a difference for the bug reporting? I have the output from the terminal (backtrace below). What could I do to provide more useful information? I suppose the next step would be to do a bisect but I've never done it and I suspect I'll need quite a bit of time.

Echo cancellation performance and metalic noise
Hi, I use speex1.1.10 [June 10, 2005]in my VoIP application and it works very good for me. But sometimes I get loud metalic noise. Turning off EC, disappears the noise right away. I use EC with denoiser ON, AGC OFF, echo tail 400 ms. Has anyone experienced this? Since Speex1.1.11 has improvement for EC, I tried with the latest release [Speex1.1.12, which has fixed point EC]. But in my test, EC

Ubuntu 8.10 wine repository (1.1.11)
Hi, I'd imagine by now it has already been reported, and possibly there is another thread already regarding the problem, that the wine repository for ubuntu 8.10 hasn't been updated to include the latest development version of wine (1.1.11). Is this a known problem? If so, is there a fix to be able to download 1.1.11 via repository? Thanks, Matthew Millar

Echo canceller: residue value
Hi Jean-Marc, For the residue in the echo_cancel function I pass in a pointer to an array of floats. First I used an array the size of the framesize, but I discovered this causes crashes because the echo_cancel funtion writes framesize+1 floats to the pointer. I find this plus one strange, since almost all things are exactly the framesize. Is this an error in the echo_cancel function or simply

echo cancellation causes assertion
Hello, i'm adding echo cancellation to my voip application, but when i call speex_echo_capture() or speex_echo_playback() causes an assertion failed, it seens that there is a delete in any where. i've encapsulated echo canceller in a class that storage the state and simply call the functions: void EchoCanceller::Playback(short *echo_frame) { speex_echo_playback(echo_state,

About echo cancelling
There were little changes when I activate "echo cancel" without AGC. And activating "echo cancel" with AGC results poor voice quality. The relationship between input frame and echo frame is written to "very important" in SpeeX 1.1.11.1 manual. And I use "previous decoded data" for echo frame. <<<<---- no problem??? I show you again my code

About echo cancelling
Hi. I've implemented "echo cancel" to voip project. But it doesn't work well . (I cannot feel the enhancement with activated AGC) My encode settings : 1. frame size : 320 bytes. 2. sampling rate : 16000 Hz (WB) 3. mono echo state initialized like this : echo_state = speex_echo_state_init(framesize, framesize*16); and befor encode : speex_echo_cancel(echo_state,

Noisy sound quality with Blackfin in WB-mode

Echo Canceller trouble in 1.2beta1
Hi Folks, I am having trouble using speex_echo_cancel. As a starting point, I am using the testecho.c source code. I compiled the 1.2beta1 version. I have not tried any other versions of speex. The document says that the order of arguments to Speex_echo_cancel is (echo_state, input_frame, echo_frame, output_frame, residue) where "input_frame" is as captured from mic and

Testing cookies - integration tests
Hello, I''m trying to test some cookie code with some integration tests, but I''m not sure if this is possible. Currently I''m creating a session (using open_session) running some code that sets my cookie and this works fine, the cookie is being set. Now cookies are supposed to exist across different sessions, so I try to create a new session (again with

[PATCH 1/2] Convert target drivers to use sbitmap
From: Matthew Wilcox <mawilcox at microsoft.com> The sbitmap and the percpu_ida perform essentially the same task, allocating tags for commands. Since the sbitmap is more used than the percpu_ida, convert the percpu_ida users to the sbitmap API. Assistance needed on using mount.smbfs (cifs) to authenticate to samba server with encrypt passwords = No.
Greetings, I am working on getting mount.cifs version: 1.11-3.2.4 on debian to mount a share on a samba server Version 3.0.13-1.1-SUSE on SuSe. This was working on older debian systems, but upon upgrading some of the systems to Lenny I am now having trouble mounting shares. Again, this was working and I have smbfs installed on the systems (which is what I used before). The samba server is set

Problems with Speex echo canceller in 1.1.10
Jean-Marc, BTW, the problem #1 is not unique to the speex echo canceller. It has also occurred on other ec's I've tried, most recently the CANEC ec from dspalgorithms.com. - Eric Scott > -----Original Message----- > From: Eric Scott > Sent: Thursday, July 28, 2005 9:11 AM > To: 'Jean-Marc Valin' > Cc: speex-dev@xiph.org > Subject: RE: [Speex-dev] Problems
