Winamp
Hi Folks, I'm looking for a Winamp plugin to play Speex files. On the Speex Plugins and software page the "Winamp and Cool Edit Plugins = Written by Case" link is dead. Anybody knows where else I can find such a plugin? Please can you test any links before referring - I've been also lead to dead links by looking through messageboards that I came across on Google search.

IPSEc versus Multipath routing
Firstly I don''t think this is a shorewall problem, but I suspect shorewall might be able to solve it for me. I''ve posted this so far at http://mandrakeusers.org/index.php?showtopic=18942 I''ve stumble upon a problem that has me stumped I have a multipath router using 2.6.8.1 with patches from here http://www.ssi.bg/~ja/#routes basic setup: ___ ISP1

[ANNOUNCE] Unofficial icecast-kh and libtheora Debian Sarge packages
Hi, I hope this is useful for some of you: I'm just finished building unofficial debian packages for icecast2 and libtheora for Sarge (stable). The idea behind this is to keep all the servers which take part on the GISS stream-ring in sync, running the same version of icecast2 kh branch, thus having a common ground for testing and debugging, and stay always on the cutting-edge of

update on browsing problems
Hi all: After a little more ad hoc testing (and looking at the log files again) I have a little more info, though not a solution yet. I'm starting to get the feeling that it's something obvious I've missed... After restarting samba, the nmb log shows this: 1998/12/16 13:23:41 ***** Samba name server RAMA is now a local master browser for workgroup IV&V on subnet

newbie problems
Hello all-- I am trying to get a tunnel up between a RedHat 9 (hare) machine and a Suse 9 machine (turtle). tinc-1.0.2 compiled fine on each (although I have tried this with the precompiled binary just in case). No matter what I seem to do, I can't get any output whatsoever. No log output with -d5 -D, no /var/log/messages output, nothing at all. tincd just returns with a 1

x filemanager (SAMBA digest 1819)

Network printer question
Howdy Folks: This may be slightly (but not entirely) off-topic for this list, but I'm sure there are some real gurus out there who should know this (and I've seen a number of related questions) so here goes: We just got a new HP8100DN printer. The guy didn't want to let me do the samba printserver thing, nor did he put it on a windoze box - he put it directly on the network

using Scheirer-Ray-Hare in R?
Does anyone know if a module already exists to run the Scheirer-Ray-Hare extension to Kruskal-Wallis in R, in order to run a non-parametric equivalent to a two-way ANOVA? -- View this message in context: http://r.789695.n4.nabble.com/using-Scheirer-Ray-Hare-in-R-tp3594480p3594480.html Sent from the R help mailing list archive at Nabble.com.

Scheirer-Ray-Hare
Hello to all the people in the forum, I'm trying to perform a Scheirer-Ray-Hare test in R, and despite I've found some posts talking about this test, there no one in which I can found how to do so. Can anyone explain me how to do the test? Thanks Pablo -- View this message in context: http://r.789695.n4.nabble.com/Scheirer-Ray-Hare-tp3818476p3818476.html Sent from the R help mailing

reading large data sets
I have some difficulties in reading big dataset; I have to import a dataset with 1'661'852 observations saved in a 51.4Mb - txt file. I was wandering if this is a memory size problem or if I realy can't import such big datasets. If the memory allocated to my R is not enough, I would like to know exactly which comands I should use in order to read and use my large dataset. I

Howto: Mac OS X to Windows VM
Hi, I have a mac pro and a windows Vm which I want to keep sync. I tired using other Sync programs but they do not seems to be working. I tend to leave applications running which create their own temp files in its own specific folder, which caused the other sync programs to crash. I tired SyncToy by MS and Unison. I am looking for a bi-directional sync program that runs in the background

Efficient lookup on a two-dimensional table
Dear R-Users, I need to lookup values from a 2-d table using the row names and column names as indices. I was wondering if there's a way to do this without an explicit loop. Example: #x is the 2-d table that holds the values x <- matrix(rnorm(26*12),nrow=26) rownames(x) <- letters colnames(x) <- month.name #y is a data frame that has the "keys" I want to use as indices
