All I got my samba server to join my win2k domain without any problems. But if I change the config to read security=domain it prompts the user for a username and password. If I change it to security=server it does not prompt for user names. I am using debian sarge. I want to block all incoming requests except DNS (port 53) and allow all outgoing traffic. I did a apt-get shorewall.
