selinux allow FTP
Hey folks, How would I allow a user to connect to an FTP server, upload and download files and delete files as well, if that server is in enforcing mode for SELinux? I'm using proftpd 1.3.5 on CentOS 7. Thank you! Tim -- GPG me!! gpg --keyserver pool.sks-keyservers.net --recv-keys F186197B

[LLVMdev] LLVM Developer Position
LLVM Developers, We are looking for a great compiler engineer for our project at Siemens Technology-to-Business Center in Berkeley (http://www.ttb.siemens.com/). Currently we are planning to use LLVM/open source as our foundation. The candidate will be developing a compiler for a clustered micro-processor for stream oriented applications. This is a challenging, but highly rewarding senior

serving speex without a server
On my personal web pages hosted by my ISP I have a collection of speex files with names ending, as usual, in '.spx'. My ISP does not provide for scripting or CGI but thanks to the "Home-Brew Streaming" idea of Dr Tak Auyeng, www.drtak.org/teaches/ARC/speex/, my friends with Windows XP can listen to such a recording without the need for a prior download of the whole file and

Speex support?
According to: http://www.speex.org/projects.html in the Player Plugins and Code Examples section, there are some libraries that allow media player, XMMS, etc to play speex. However I'm not sure if the format that they expect is the same format that icecast with Karl's modifications is currently producing. Past that, the dev branch of speex (1.1.6 currently) has a working adaptive

SIP / RTCP statistics logging
G'day. I am wanting to find out how my SIP service is performing with Asterisk, especially jitter and dropped packets. I can get an overview of that using the 'rtcp stats' function at the console, but is there any way to get those logged to a file or some other permanent record? Nothing in logger.conf seems applicable, save perhaps directing verbose messages somewhere, but it

Measuring voice quality with Asterisk
Hi! I want to use Asterisk as load generator to test quality degradation with increased load (e.g. testing other SIP equipment or IP-links). Is anybody aware of such a setup with Asterisk - is it possible to get RTP statistics out of Asterisk (e.g. jitter, packet loss, reordering ...)? Thanks Klaus

Therefore I'm trying again: I'm just wondering what the RTT *exactly* means. Where are the exact measuring points located? => How are the RTT values exactly calculated? Which values are actually

jitter buffer implementation in speex
Hi all I have seen that, for speex 1.1.6, there is a jitter buffer implementation. I´d like to know, please, what kind of jitter algorithm it´s been used to implement it. Is there anything like an algorithm overview or something else that someone could send me? Thanks in advance and best regards Guild __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo!
