OCFS2 2.6.25
Hi,
According to this site, http://oss.oracle.com/osswiki/OCFS2/Roadmap cluster
ware flock feature is available in (2.6.25) for Red hat 5.2 U2.
But on download page of OCFS2 website I didn't find 2.6.25 version for 64
bit Red Hat Linux 5.2.
Current download are only for Red Hat (kernel 2.6.18 ), from where I can
download 2.6.25?
Thanks

NIC Bonding
Hi,
I have 2 NIC and wants to use both NIC for load balancing and fault
tolerance.
- Quick question if NIC bonding in Redhat is supported by OCFS2?
- If yes which mode bonding is supported?
Thanks

OCFS2 Node restart
Hi,
I have 6 nodes cluster with OCFS2 1.4.2 running on vmware virtual system
RedHat 5.2 (2.6.18-128.1.16.el5) 64bit.
Out of 6 nodes two nodes alf0 and alf3 reboot automatically, I enabled
remote logging for kernel, and here is log.
I noticed VM become non-response and suddenly reboots. I am running Alfresco
(documents sharing) application all nodes are accessing common share on
OCFS.

Hi, Andras,
Thanks for the comments. Yes, I am aware of those issues. I probably
should have been more accurate on my usage of terms. Actually in my
project, the unit collection is a mixture of diphones and words.
However seems to me, these synthesizer specific issue is irrelevant to
my question about speex. As you said, i merely use speex as storage
methods. All I ask for is to get the

Assuming you follow the installation instructions, and install the Mbrola and

Ok, let me first explain why 5ms matters, even they are 0's, in my
particular application.
I am working on a speech synthesis system. The basic idea is
concatenating pre-recorded phonemes or words into longer sentences. So
any missing or extra samples, even it is as short as 5~10ms, cause
very noticeable discontinuities.
I want to use speex to compress/decompress those pre-recorded

Nelson- Siegel - (Yield Curve - Smoothening of curve)
I am Julia Cains from Brisbane. This is my
first mail to this group and I have recently started learning the R language.
I am trying to learn the smoothening
of the yield curve. However, I came across the CRAN package – “YieldCurve”
meant for Modelling and estimation of the yield curve. The problem is I am not
able to understand whether this package will help me to carry out smoothening of

[At the risk of educating you about something you might already know]
Natural speech in most human languages gradually changes from one
phoneme to the next.
Concatenating phonemes together from a fixed, prerecorded, unflexible
set would give rise to abrupt changes between them (both in phoneme
quality and in pitch), and thus make the resulting speech hard to
understand and/or uncomfortable

Heartbeat Timeout Threshold
I've been using OCFS2 on a 3 way Centos 5.2 Xen cluster for a while now using it to share
the VM disk images. In this way I can have live and transparent VM migration.
I'd been having intermittent (every 2-3 weeks) incidents where a server would self fence.
After configuring netconsole I managed to see that the fencing was due to a heartbeat
threshold timeout so I have now increased

Text to Speech - Someone needs to do this
Why hasn't someone found 50 people who sound alike, put them in sound
studios and record the 10,000 most commonly used words. You would all
differnent forms of the 1,000 most words, i.e. leading, trailing, question
etc.
You can synthesize the other 0.05% when you run into them. With hard drives
so big, processors so fast and EXT3 that can handle 30,000+ files in a
single directory that

pam_setcred fails for "USE_POSIX_THREADS + non-root users + PrivSep yes"
Hello,
We use USE_POSIX_THREADS in our HP-UX build of OpenSSH. When we connect a
non-root user with PAM [pam-kerberos] then I get the following error.
debug3: PAM: opening session
debug1: PAM: reinitializing credentials
PAM: pam_setcred(): Failure setting user credentials
This is particularly for non-root users with PrivSep YES. When I connect to

[PATCH AUTOSEL 5.4 143/350] drm/nouveau: Resume hotplug interrupts earlier
From: Lyude Paul <lyude at redhat.com>
[ Upstream commit ac0de16a38a9ec7026ca96132e3883c564497068 ]
Currently, we enable hotplug detection only after we re-enable the
display. However, this is too late if we're planning on sending sideband
messages during the resume process - which we'll need to do in order to
reprobe the topology on resume.
So, enable hotplug events before

[LLVMdev] Correct use of StringRef and Twine
I'm attempting to do some amount of mass migration from const std::string&
(& const char*) to StringRef. In doing so I stumbled across the fact that
while StringRef has no op+ to speak of (well, it has += and I added a manual
StringRef+std::string and std::string+StringRef for now - though I'm
thinking perhaps they can be skipped in favor of Twine operations), Twine
does provide a
