Shorewall 1.4.6 Beta 2
Changes since Beta 1: Problems Corrected: 1. Corrected a problem in Beta 1 where DNS names containing a "-" were mis-handled when they appeared in the DEST column of a rule. New Features: 1. The limit of 256 addresses for an address range has been removed. Shorewall now decomposes the range into an optimal set of network/host addresses (see also the

Defining "trusted" hosts/nets on a single interface system
Ok, I give up. I tried, really hard, before asking but I must be the most stupid shorewall user on the planet :( My laptop runs a single eth0 interface and knows Net and Firewall as zones and the default "inbound" policies are Net->Any DROP and >ny->Any REJECT. Now at home I have my trusted 192.168.174.240/29 subnet which hosts my very trusted 192.168.174.242 host and I

[LLVMdev] State of 'llvm.pcmarker' Intrinsic
Hi list, For a tool I'm working on I'd like to know where instructions end up in compiled executables by looking them up in the symbol table. Therefore, I've been trying to use the llvm.pcmarker Intrinsic, but I've had no luck. When I pass .bc files with this intrinsic into llc, I'm given this error: LLVM ERROR: Cannot yet select: 0x2026938: ch PCMarker 0x1f0c678, 0x20268b0

Re: Reg. FLAC decoding
I can't be totally sure what 'short' is on your platform, but if it's (probably) 16-bits, it looks like you're treating the samples in buffer[] as packed 16 bit numbers. but all samples in buffer[] are 32-bit signed integers in host order, regardless of the bits-per-sample of the frame. so to get them down to shorts (assuming they'll fit), do like: FLAC__int32 *

Reg. I/O callbacks.
Supposing I want to use the File decoder., and set the I/O callbacks. How do I do it? The API (version 1.1.2) documentation gives functions to set the ``write``, ``metadata`` and ``error`` callback. What about the ``read``., ``eof``, etc. callbacks. If i'm using the file decoder., can i still use the functions from the stream_decoder_set_* for this? -- Joe Steeve (http://www.joesteeve.org/)

[LLVMdev] llvm-link and ld option --whole-archive
Hello list, On linux, ld has the following option: --whole-archive For each archive mentioned on the command line after the --whole-archive option, include every object file in the archive in the link, rather than searching the archive for the required object files. This is normally used to turn an archive file into a shared library,

[LLVMdev] Disable all inlining in llvm-gcc/llvm-g++
Hi, I'd like to disable all inlining in llvm-gcc/llvm-g++. From the FAQ on llvm.org, I see: "Passing "-Wa,-disable-opt -Wl,-disable-opt" will disable *all* cleanup and optimizations done at the llvm level, leaving you with the truly horrible code that you desire." But from a cursory glance at llvm-backend.cpp I don't immediately see that everything has been disabled
