webmaster help needed - call for volunteers
Dear Community, Xiph.org has a serious need for some webmasterly help, and currently no one actively involved has the time to fill such a role. We are hereby asking if there are any volunteers in the community who would like to help out in this capacity, possibly as part of a webmaster team (depending on response). This job pays in karma only, unfortunately. This is a good opportunity to help

Release - NUT-Html v 1.1
All, I've decided to publish something I threw together. I recently installed NUT and found it to be a hassle to switch between the CGIs for web access. I created some HTML to provide an easy way to go between the CGIs easily and quickly. It uses the exact same color scheme that the default CGIs use. I would very much appreciate any input. I am open to having this included with the main

NUT upsstats.cgi problem
I seem to have NUT all working with my R3000XR, except for the CGIs. The webserver's all properly configured and upsstats.cgi *runs*, but doesn't yield any useful output - no values are displayed, every value is replaced by [error: Invalid argument]. Apache is not logging any resulting errors, and there doesn't seem to be a lot of useful documentation on the CGIs to troubleshoot

Contact information for samba.org webmaster?
I tried hard and failed to find any information about who is responsible for maintenance of samba.org. There are things on the site that don't work and I'd like to report them. Sorry for kinda offtopic but there's no any clue on the site regarding where else can this question belong. Please cc your reply to me because I'm not on the list. Thanks! -- Alexander Konovalenko

Re: Contact the CentOS WebMaster (was FlameFest Firewall Doc stuff)
God help me I know I said let it die, but it was continued elsewhere also. I'll try to keep this forest fire in ONE location. Proposal: MAC_BIBA and real-world usage
Hello, Are there many people actually using the MAC subsystem in the real world? I have been working to set up a shared hosting webserver and I've stumbled against some limitations with the BIBA policy. In short, it's an excellent model, and can be used succesfully if applications are aware of its existance, but I find it incompatible with the real-world needs in Unix, and,

[LLVMdev] Release Notes: Volunteers needed
We need some volunteers to help with the 3.0 release notes. Traditionally, Chris has been the one to go through all the commits (6 months worth!) and come up with a concrete list of things that have changed in 3.0. Ideally, its much better if this document is incrementally updated as well, but we know how that goes. This is a huge amount of work and with the pace that LLVM/Clang are being

DHTML on WEBrick
I have some simple dhtml code in my rails app that hides fields I do not need displayed. This worked great as soon as I click on the item that initiates the hide, but within one second it pops back up. My assumption is WEBrick is refreshing to a previous state and I wondered what y''all thought was the appropriate way to handle. I thought maybe the default environment in production would
