Re: [iPAQ] Ogg Vorbis fixed-point math anyone ?
Actually, we have a integerized version of the vorbis libraries that are available, royalty free, with a simple attribution requirement. These libraries are 100% C code and run faster than real time on a cirrus 7312-74mhz processor (arm core). My guess is they should run at about 20-30% cpu utilization on a strongarm/200. Monty has this same code, but his version doesn't play b4 content real

i need your opinion of my encoded file in ipaq 1940
Hi, I encoded file in a ipaq 1940, pocket pc 2003, processor Samsung s3c241(similar to ARM), 266 Mhz. I would like to know your opinion for the quality output if this is right to entered parameters. File original: http://padawan.ing.puc.cl/chavezorig.wav File encoded: http://padawan.ing.puc.cl/chavezq1.wav The parameters for encoded are: state = speex_encoder_init(&speex_nb_mode); int tmp=0;

Is there a way of getting R up and running on an IPAQ 3870?
Hi, I was wondering (as a trawl has not turned up anything) whether anyone has any ideas regarding this matter? Does a version exist? Has anyone been able to compile such a version? Any pointers would be most welcome, as the ability to put an IPAQ to really productive use would be great. Alternatively does anyone know of any other similar software to carry out EDA and small scale post hoc

Speex latency
Hi, What kind of latency is expected using 8,16,32 khz? I am trying to do a realtime stream server, and I am having latency above >500ms ( I capture the sound using the mic, encode it and send it to the client). I am using ALSA system, a SB128 PCI and a 800Mhz P3 . What can I do to lower the latency? I tried a test : arecord -t raw | speexenc - - | speexdec - and I found that I also have a 500

Re: [Asterisk-Dev] Softphone for PocketPC or iPaq
I have tried sjphone - worked well, although I think my 3 year old IPAQ had a bit of a hard time keeping up with the pace as there was quite a delay in the speech. Probably says more about my ancient IPAQ than SJPhone. Compile error rijndael on Solaris 2.6 (and fix)
When compiling openssh-SNAP-20001014 on Solaris 2.6 with gcc 2.95.2 I get: In file included from rijndael.c:42: rijndael.h:6: parse error before `u1byte' and a lot more warnings and errors... Solved by adding #include "config.h" in rijndael.c Lasse Holmqvist

AEC learning behaviour
Hi, I already implemented and posted a patch to do this serialization a few weeks ago. http://permalink.gmane.org/gmane.comp.audio.compression.speex.devel/6913 It is not integrated into the main git tree though. Speex on Nokia 6600
Thanks very much. You mean both encode and decode simulateusly (duplex)? Could you test the Java version (jspeex) on that iPaq too? (I do not have anything other than very fast PC, so I cant do this...) And, in phone, the mic can record not only the users speech but also voice from the other side (from speaker)... Does this make compression harder or the result worse? How can this impact

tc on familiar ipaq
Hello, I want to run bandwidth management on my ipaq (H3970) running familiar 0.8. It''s built on top of linux 2.4.19 kernel. There is iptables but no traffice control (tc) tools. I''m thinking to cross compile my own tc. Does anyone know where to get tc source file? or Does anyone have tried this before? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Ya-Yunn

Asterisk Demo
Hi, I need to setup a demo for asterisk and need some help here please. The demo is connecting to Asterisk a Cisco 7970 SIP (ver. &.0) and a SIP client on HP iPAQ via a wireless hotspot. I need to configure both with the same extension with a shared line like in Cisco CallManager. This way if the extension is called both iPAQ and the IP phone ring and the user gets to pick up using either.

fixed point math
While vorbis works fine sending through the net PCM samples from a Plan 9 machine (a 686) to a compaq Ipaq, it would be great if it could work within the ipaq. I think that would require fixed point math instead of using the FPU all the times. the mp3 mad player seems to do just that. Any plans to go along the same lines and provide a fixed point decoder? --- >8 ---- List archives:

I''ve created a bridge br0 for eth0 and bnep0 and activated bridging in shorewall. dhcpd is listening
