Missing files for Delphi
Hello speex-dev, Like several others who develop in Delphi I have searched for the speex.dll or speex.pas file to no avail. Its a pity that this compilation is not available as many developers use Delphi, and this codec does seem to be an excellent free alternative. Do you know if anyone has been able to contact John Villar the author of the delphi example? -- Regards, Alistair+

delphi speex.dll
Hi I don't have the tools (or the ability) to compile the speex.dll as required in the delphi sample. Could someone maybe point me to a site or contact where I can get hold of this dll and other related files. Speex Delphi/dll
If you get BDS 2006, you will get C++ compiler as a part of the package. Then you will be able to build a DLL or static library (I think Delphi can link to C libraries). If this is not an option for you, I will try to build you a DLL. The only problem is that I'm not certain what exported functions you'd need. .a ________________________________ From: speex-dev-bounces@xiph.org

Speex on Delphi
Hi, I hope it is ok to send questions to this list as a mere user of speex, but I couldn't find any reference to newsgroups or any reference to Delphi in past threads of this list. I would love to use speex in a Delphi application, but the plugin example provided in the speex website is missing a speex DLL and a speex Delphi unit. Does anyone know where I can find them, or how to contact

Problems to compile speex 1.1.10 on windows
I am a delphi coder and i have successfully compiled version 1.0.5 to use the resulting dll in John Villars Delphi-Example with Bloodsheds dev-c++. With the stable version 1.0.5 it works fine but on my slow computer with 900Mz I have a lot of buffer overflows. Therefore I should like to create a dll with version 1.1.10 because it should be faster but i run into a lot of problems. I am not

Problems to compile speex 1.1.10 on windows
Why not use gcc? You can get either mingw or cygwin. Otherwise I don't know. Speex should compile with a C++ compiler with only minor tweaks (forcing the compiler to accept the C casts). Speex hardware requirements?
Also, you would be sattisfied with the narrowband decoding because the GBA sound quality isn't very good, however, that depends greatly on what you're going to do with speex on a GBA.... (an RPG with audio dialogs? ;-)) also, using a DSP in a GBA Cartridge sounds like overkill to me, however, that depends greatly on what are you developing and what's your target audience....

Speaking of video conferencing in conjunction with Speex, we are currently beta testing a solution we developed that offers multi-point, multi-party video and audio using the Speex engine for voice. http://www.wiredred.com/downloads/ecsetup.exe The fair and good audio settings are Speex narrowband, high quality is HawkVoice and toll quality is PCM. -----Original Message----- From:

Problems with Delphi 3 on SAMBA
Hi, We have a Sun running SAMBA and have a problem with a share which contains Delphi 3 source code. Compilations on large projects fail, with the .EXE file stopping generation at ~2Mb, although compilations of the same code on an NT drive are fine. Delphi 1 seems to work fine on the SAMBA drive, creating files of >3.5Mb, so it does not seem to be a file size problem either. Can anyone shed

Speex DLL wrapper looking.
Dear Sirs, I'm looking for the DLL version of Speex, to study very quickly the possible integration of this interesting voice oriented CODEC into our application. We develop, mainly, in Delphi. We use C++ only to develop firmware for our RF transcievers. I saw on the Speex.org website that there is a Delphi program\porting, but this dll is missing there. Can you help me about this? It will

BIG Problems with compiling DELPHI projects on SAMBA shares
Hello, we have a problem here. We are using Samba 1918p10 on Solaris 2.5.1 on Sun servers and Solarisx86 on pc servers with many, many NT 4.0/sp3 clients. Working great with different applications (Office, SPSS, and many others), now we installed Delphi 3.0, and if students are trying to compile Delphi projects on samba home share we have big problems. Compiling and working on local disk or Novell

WINE x Delphi BDE + MSSQL Client
Hi, I have an app with Delphi7 + MSSQL, developed during 10 years. Now, the users have asked me about some way to run this app into Linux Fedora Core 2/3. I use Fedora for apps in Java with no problems, but I never heard about Delphi run. I look at WineHQ site about this combination of Delphi + MSSQL but I didn't find. I found some thing about Delphi 7 install and slow behaviour in
