zlib plugin doesn't add "Z" flag to Maildir filename
I enabled zlib compression, so new mails are saved compressed. Now I want to convert the old mails to gzip with the find and gzip command, but now I don't know which files are already gzip compressed by dovecot. Shouldn't zlib_save itself add Z to the Maildir flags? As suggested in the compress guide on http://wiki2.dovecot.org/Plugins/Zlib ? -- Tom

How to use filled.contour(x,y,z) data for levelplot(z)?
Dear all, We used the following function to create a spatial plot of a raster image: filled.contour(xx,yy,zz, color = terrain.colors, nlevels=10, main=naamjaar, plot.axes = { contour(Xcoord/1000,Ycoord/1000,lim.data, nlevels = 4, col=4,drawlabels = T, axes = FALSE, frame.plot = FFALSE, add = TRUE);axis(1); axis(2);

R_decompress1 and zlib
Dear all, I have a problem similar to what was already posted about two years ago (http://tolstoy.newcastle.edu.au/R/help/05/01/10011.html): I have a binary file, which contains a header and data compressed by zlib and written to the file as unsigned character. Here is, what I try to do: > zz <- file(in.file, 'rb') > ## the header has to be read in three parts due to the

-z and -B65536 causing file corruption in 2.5.5 w/zlib 1.1.4
When using the -z and -B65536 options together, sometimes there is file corruption. Client and server are both compiled against zlib 1.1.4, so the gzip corruption shouldn't be there, right? With -z and -B32768 there is an error, but it is detected in a different way. With -B65536 and without -z all seems to be going OK. With -B16384 and with -z all seems to be going OK. I'm guessing

Win Xp logon issues
When I type the user name and password to logon onto our network (samba is the pdc) it takes a long time to login. How can I go about speeding this up? Is it a Win Xp issue or do I need to tweak samba? Also, when I login in to an XP machine I get a script (looks like some sort of logon script) that shows up in notepad on the desktop and stays there until I close it. What is this and how can I

rsync compilation may find the system zlib before the included one
Hi, I'm trying to compile rsync 3.1.1pre2 on OS X with CFLAGS=-I/opt/local/include. The consequence of this is that rsync fails to build: /usr/bin/clang -I. -I. -pipe -Os -I/opt/local/include -arch x86_64 -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -Wall -W -I./zlib -I/opt/local/include -c token.c -o token.o token.c:420:26: error: use of undeclared identifier 'Z_INSERT_ONLY' r =

IRQ Problems
Hello I just installed a TE110P in a Dell Poweredge 750 (rackmount), which is connected via crossover T1 cable to a adit 600. Anyway, I've encountered an array of errors, which I believe I have narrowed down to the 22 IRQ misses I encounter on zttool. I've noticed that the te110p and the usb device share an IRQ. Could that be the source of my woes? Would disabling the usb device in the

urppTest Z-tau? Z-alpha?
Hello, Could someone give me a hint about what might be the difference between running urppTest with Z-alpha and Z-tau in type=c("Z-alpha", "Z-tau")? Is this the underlying equation: delta_y(t) = mu + tau*timetrend+(1-rho)*y(t-1) + alpha_1*delta_y(t-1) + ... + alpha_k*delta_y(t-k) + error term ? I looked at Banerjee et al. mentioned in the fSeries documentation, but that

The meaning of 'z value' and 'Pr(>|z|)' in the result of glm
Hi all, I used the function 'glm' to perform logistic regression, and then use 'summary' to display the fitting result. There are 'z value' and 'Pr(>|z|)' Do they simpily represent the result of 'z test' ? as I perform the 'z test' for a particular variable following the definition, it yields a different result. Calculation of e^{z^2/2} for a normal deviate z
Dear Rui, Thanks for your quick reply -- this allows me to see the bottom of this. I was hoping we could have a handle of those p in genmoics such as 1e-300 or smaller.
