Client fails kex after c38ea634893a1975dbbec798fb968c9488013f4a
I have a Putty variant that works well with openSSH up until 7.4. After
git bisecting I found that after the application of
c38ea634893a1975dbbec798fb968c9488013f4a the client fails with host key
mismatch. The commit in question appears to remove vestiges of ssh-1
support but my client is using 2.0. I am trying to work out what in that
commit would lead to the symptoms. I have been through the

Update from 7.3 to 7.4 failing because of architecture change from PPC64 to PPC
yum currently has issues with obsoletes .. especially when something
like a noarch file gets obsoleted by an $arch type rpm and there are 2
(multi) arches available to replace it. It pulls in BOTH, not just the
one arch you have installed .. and that then pulls in deps for the 2nd
arch that you don't currently have.
Hopefully they will fix this.
There is an option called multilib_policy BUT

T.38 not working - help needed with log interpretation
Dear all,
I have the following situation:
Local T.38 endpoint <-> ASTERISK <-> SIP provider (with T.38 support)
I am trying to send a fax from my local T.38 endpoint to arbitrary external fax numbers (which I am not in control of, so I don't know if the other end supports T.38, is connected to a PBX, who is their provider, and so on), of course trying to use T.38 at least from

Yep. This worked. Thanks!
Why yum can't figure this out itself?

Update from 7.3 to 7.4 failing because of architecture change from PPC64 to PPC
Hello,
I'm having problems updating from 7.3 to 7.4 on my ppc64 (IBM Power7
p770) installation.
yum update stops with
Error: Multilib version problems found.
[..]
Protected multilib versions: systemd-libs-219-42.el7.ppc !=
systemd-libs-219-42.el7_4.1.ppc64
When I scroll back through the transaction check I see various package
dependencies for *.ppc instead of *.ppc64.

help with zoo
Hi,
I am interested in decomposing a time series and getting the trend, seasonal and?irregular variations, as one can get with the "stl" command. My time series is fairly regular, but it has some breaks. From the zoo manual, I gather that it should be possible to convert it to a regular time series and then fill the NA entries by interpolation. I am not able to proceed beyond a certain

[PATCH] Allow MAP_NORESERVE in sandbox seccomp filter maps
While debugging Scudo on ChromeOS, we found that the no reserve mode
immediately crashed `sshd`. We tracked it down to the
sandbox-seccomp-filter.
Being able to mmap with MAP_NORESERVE is useful (if not necessary) for
some overcommitting allocators.
During mmap calls, the flag MAP_NORESERVE is used by some allocators
such as LLVM's Scudo for layout optimisation. This causes the sandbox

[LLVMdev] question on code in PointerIntPair.h
around line 45 a bitmask is computed as:
PointerBitMask =
~(uintptr_t)(((intptr_t)1 << PtrTraits::NumLowBitsAvailable)-1),
my question is why is the shift performed on intptr_t? Wouldn't the
following be ok?
PointerBitMask =
~(((uintptr_t)1 << PtrTraits::NumLowBitsAvailable)-1),
Thanks in advance,
Maurizio

how are the binary distribution compiled?
I see that some of the announcements of binaries for Windows include the
script using for compiling.
Is there anything similar (or some other form of documentation) for the
binaries distributed on http://releases.llvm.org/download.html for other
platforms? (I'm particularly interested in Ubuntu)
Thanks,
Maurizio
