Problem backing up read-only files
I have a PC on which I run Windows XP and Cygwin 1.5. To this is attached an HP Media Vault mv2120 via Ethernet through a switch. I can copy files back and forth between the XP machine and the Media Vault, so that much seems to work fine. I would like to use rsync to back up some of the files on the XP machine to the Media Vault. This seems to work as it should as long as the files have write

[PATCH] v2v: virtio-win: include *.dll too
Windows QXL drivers include also qxldd.dll which used to get filtered out and not copied over into the guest. As a result QXL driver failed to install due to a missing file. Correct that, and update the tests accordingly. Signed-off-by: Roman Kagan <rkagan@virtuozzo.com> --- v2v/fake-virtio-win/drivers/i386/Win7/qxldd.dll | 1 + v2v/test-v2v-in-place.sh | 1 +

(1) I can't load other packages but "standard" ones also when I adjust the PythonPath: > importPythonModule('sys', all=T) NULL > importPythonModule('numpy', all=T) Error in

glusterfs 3.2.1 processes in an endless loop?
Hello, I found a new issue with glusterfs 3.2.1 - im getting a glusterfs process for each mountpoint and they are consuming all of the CPU time. strace won't show a thing - so no system calls are made Mounting the same volumes on another server works fine. Has anyone seen such a thing? Oder any idea, what causes this and how to fix it? The logfiles don't show any information about

[PATCH v2 4/5] v2v:tests: use fake virtio-win drivers
In order to test the copying of virtio-win drivers into the guest during v2v, create a set of fake virtio-win drivers and make use of them in the corresponding v2v tests. Signed-off-by: Roman Kagan <rkagan@virtuozzo.com> --- changes since v1: - moved fake-virtio-win under v2v - referred to fake-virtio-win stuff via $PWD in test scripts - updated Makefile to package the newly added files

Unable to build appliance
Hello-- I've been trying to build libguestfs 1.2.14 with the appliance enabled on an older type of system at my company. Getting all the required dependencies installed has been an arduous process, but I've finally hit an obstacle I don't know how to get around. Specifically, it - adds a number of files which imitate the stuff that is supposed to be present on the host when the actual conversion is performed, but may not be there when the tests are run. This includes certain tools and virtio drivers - fixes the test for windows conversion to actually
