tinc-pre* between gentoo and raspbian
Dear all,
I have a bit of a complicated tinc setup yielding weird results that I
cannot explain. I would be glad if maybe someone here could help me out.
I have 3 machines (with IP addresses in my tinc network)
machine A (10.0.0.2) runs gentoo, tinc-1.1_pre17, behind router Y
machine B (10.0.0.3) runs gentoo, tinc-1.1pre15, behind router X
machine C (10.0.0.1) runs raspbian, tinc-1.1pre15, behind

Little fast-rewind: i own some Konica-Minolta BizHub multifunction

But authentication does not work, seems bacause that printer try to use
SASL over plain LDAP (no SSL nor TLS).

Samba, AD and devices compatibility...
I'm trying to test/move some of my LDAP-enabled devices from my actual
OpenLDAP server(s) to my new samba AD domain.
For now, i'm poking with printers, and i'm testing a Konica-Minolta
BizHub C224e.
Defining user autentication to external source, i can set (between
LDAP, NTLM, NDS, ...) 'Active Directory', and i can/must provide the
domain naime.
After that, DNS and kerberos

Active Directory LDAP userdb and dovecot
Hello everybody,
I have a problem with LDAP userdb and dovecot. Let me first explain
my LDAP configuration: I got three Active Directory LDAP servers
(a.galliera.it, b.galliera.it, c.galliera.it) responding round robin
to the name galliera.it.
I want to use LDAP for the userdb lookup, so I configured
dovecot-ldap-userdb.conf.ext as follow:
hosts = galliera.it # round robin

I'm trying to use http from syslinux.efi but it fails while trying to

smbclient 4.0.7 fails transfer with STATUS_INVALID_PARAMETER and SMB2 but not with NT1
We get STATUS_INVALID_PARAMETER failures when smbclient uses SMB2 but passes with NT1. We do get some success, but mostly failures. It appears to happen after it transfers the PDF file.
These are the packets leading up to SMB2 failing after the transfer:

Seeing dropped packets / tcp retrans on latest 4.4.1-10el6
Hi All,
I've tracked this down... We do rate limiting of our vms with a mix of ebtables/tc.
Running these commands (replace vif1.0 with the correct vif for your VM) will reproduce this:
ebtables -A FORWARD -i vif1.0 -j mark --set-mark 990 --mark-target CONTINUE
tc qdisc add dev bond0 root handle 1: htb default 2
tc class add dev bond0 parent 1: classid 1:0 htb rate 10000mbit

Using AD, one more try - "successfol auth" and crashing auth process
Hi,
I have no success in using AD with dovecot.
The little checkpassword script I cooked up that uses ldapsearch to lookup a user DN (with an authenticated bind) and then ldapsearch with an authenticated bind for that DN again works well.
* Approach 1: use a service account to bind to AD, lookup the user DN, and bind to that DN.
It fails. The LDAP config looks like:
