link-dest and batch-file
I don't believe there is anything you can do with the batch options for
this. If you added a --write-batch to each of those you would get 3
batch files that wouldn't be read without a --read-batch. If you also
did a --read-batch that would contain differences between a backup and
the backup before it so rsync would still have to read the backup before
it to understand the batch (and this

link-dest and batch-file
If you are using ZFS then forget --link-dest. Just rsync to the same
zfs mount every time and do a zfs snapshot after the rsync finishes.
Then delete old backups with a zfs destroy.

what is R equivalent of Fortran DOUBLE PRECISION ?
I noticed taht R cannot understand certain Fortran real constant formats. For instance:
c14 <- as.double( 7.785205408500864D-02)
Error: unexpected symbol in " c14 <- as.double( 7.785205408500864D"
The above "D" is used in Fortran language to indicate the memory starage mode. That is for instructing Fortran compiler
to store such a REAL constant in DOUBLE

[RFC][PATCH] virtio: 64 bit features
Extend features to 64 bit so we can use more
transport bits.
Future patches add two new feature bits which would
exhaust the supply of transport feature bits,
so let's add bit 31 to tell the guest that
there are now 64 worth of features.
For PCI this also changes the config layout.

Please help me interpret these results (fitting distributions to real data)
I just thought of a useful metaphore for the problem I face. I am dealing
with a problem in business finance, with two kinds of related events.
However, imagine you have a known amount of carbon (so many kilograms), but
you do not know what fraction is C14 (and thus radioactive). Only the C14
will give decay events (and once that event has occurred, the atom that
decayed will never decay
