Shares not accessible when using FQDN
Rowland, Yes, I mean uidNumber and gidNumber. I'm aware I need to work with AD but at this time I need my unix IDs (on NSS) to keep services working. Not only for files ownership, but also for some other services. Yeah, that's complex... If I undestand well, the best way to do is to join the server using "net ads join" and use nss_winbind. This what I do but I only use the

The thing with hostap driver (and others i think) is that it creates new virtual interfaces (wlanxxx) for every node that associates with it. Lets say i want to limit all outgoing traffic on wlan0 at 512 Mbits. The problem is that i cannot apply an htb configuration on wlan0, beacause some traffic is handled

I only understood it''s real behavior until I read this document from Russell Stuart: http://ace-host.stuart.id.au/russell/files/tc/doc/tc/priority.txt So, based in this information, I''ve prepared an alternative priomap explanation for this section of the HOWTO, if you like it as it is I could
