[LLVMdev] Support for "foreign" Visual Studio 64 bits C++ exceptions?
Hi, We are currently porting our application to Windows 64 bits (amd64), and we are getting regressions from 32 bits relatively to LLVM 3.0's ability to get traversed by "foreign" Visual Studio C++ exceptions. That is, there is a crash when C++ exceptions which are thrown from Visual Studio code, are unwinding through LLVM code before being eventually catch by other Visual Studio

Rsync (cwrsync) log file
Greetings - There is probably a simple answer to this, but I can't seem to figure it out. I would like to have a clean log file of each rsync operation; in other words I don't want to have rsync append to the existing log file, but instead create a new one each time after deleting the old one. My situation is this; I run rsync from a shell script on my Linux server which backs up

VB 6.0 Implementation of cwRsync 2.5.7 Questions...
Tevfik: I see from your experience that you have Visual Basic. I'm attempting to develop a file deployment/synchronization application using the cwRsync product in a VB 6.0 environment. It will run continuously on a Win box and need to communicate with both Win and UNIX clients. Is this possible? I inferred that I only needed to run the cwRsync install, which did install the rsync

cwrsync client log format ??
We were trying to introduce a better client side log format so that we could get timestamps and module names etc. In the rsync documentation it looks like you can use --log-format for the client ... there is even a sentence saying that this format would not interfere with the rsybc daemons format. We are using cwrsync and when we try and add --log-format="%o %h [%a] %m (%u) %f %l" The

cwRsync got killed...
Last cwrsync was 4.1.0, current is 4.2.0. It was avail on sourceforge. Itefix.no decided "we want money for coding and support" - that itself is not wrong. Though _I_ never needed any rsync help on neither linux and windows (including mixed) scenarios. But they killed their sourceforge downloads, all, including past versions of cwrsync, including source. The 4.2.0 client is still

CWRsync & DeltaCopy
Hi everybody! I don't ask this question together with my previous ones, because it is a new theme. I also wanted to backup files from a Windows client to a Linux Server. For testing I transfered a 512MB file with a bandwidth of 10Mbyte/s. So when I run the rsync command from the Linux machine and backup files from a mounted folder, it takes about 145 sec. But running the same command with

Can't start cwrsync service under Windows XP
Hello list, I thought all my rsync worries were over last time I posted here, but unfortunately I was wrong. I am using cwrsync to backup a Windows XP machine onto a Windows 2000 machine over our LAN. Relevant versions: cwRsync 1.2.3, Rsync 2.6.2, cygwin1.dll 1.5.9-1, openssh 3.8.1p1-1 This worked for several months, but recently

cwRsync logs
Using cwRsync on Windows, is there any way to get the standard rsync stats at the end? It does not look like '--stats' is an option for cwRsync and verbose does not provide the stats. -- Robert

cwRsync : send all output to a file
Hello I have been using cwRsync on some Windows boxes, backing up to a Linux server. I have found some issues which files being open and not being copied etc, so I decided that I would log the output from the rsync command on the Windows clients so that I can look at them. On the Windows boxes, I put the rsync command in a batch file and run that automatically each evening. However, if I simply

Cwrsync ... mkdir permission denied
Hi, I have a little problem with Cwrsync. I don't know if one of you has already use it but I don't understand why rsync can't create directories. The next error is dislpayed : "rsync: recv_generator: mkdir "/*****" <in *****> failed: Permission denied <13>" I use a remote rsync server launched with rsync --daemon. I created a module pointing to the

cwrsync strange path in error message
Dear Patricia: First off, my apologies ahead of time for bothering you. I am attempting to locate a Patricia Palumbo. She worked in Doylestown, Pa., as a court officer in the '60s. She would now be somewhere in her 70s. She was a very close friend at the time, but we lost contact with one another over the years. And, no, this is NOT a romance thing. :o) By any chance, do you know
