[Bug 11067] New: add --min-depth and --max-depth options
Maybe a bit off topic. (I don't deal with any data even remotely that large.) How would you use these new options - just as a way to break large tasks into smaller "batches"? If rsync "stops in the middle", then the target would be in a sort of limbo where it might not be fully usable. Joe On 01/22/2015 09:38 AM, samba-bugs at samba.org wrote: >

OT: UPS battery vendor
Hi, folks. I need some new replacement batteries for rack-mount APC UPSes. My old vender... well, the salesman I dealt with for several years left about a year and a half ago, and last year's purchase was a disaster (wrong batteries, wrong batteries, months to get the shipping to return the wrong batteries...), so I'm looking for a new, reliable vendor who does US government contract

addition of vendor dwarf operator extension.
Hello, Thanks for prompt reply. Motivation, In case of debugging of bi-endian dwarf and value known at runtime some of the raw values needs to be byte swapped to change the endianity. We have a llvm based compiler which generates such dwarf, TAG_variable marked as big endian and debugging on little endian host using lldb. The listed operator on dwarf issues does that, one operator instead of

Thanks for the reply. We will mainly use this for archival - near-cold storage. Anything, from your experience, to keep in mind while planning large installations? addition of vendor dwarf operator extension.
Hello all, There is one enhancement request open for dwarfv5, http://dwarfstd.org/ShowIssue.php?issue=191107.1 The request is for addition of dwarf expression operator to swap the top of the dwarf stack, the response seems positive but it may take some time till v6. I like to add that operator as vendor extension but I am not sure how to go about it for llvm/lldb. Currently I am using it as

Multi petabyte gluster
We are using 3.10 and have a 7 PB cluster. We decided against 16+3 as the rebuild time are bottlenecked by matrix operations which scale as the square of the number of data stripes. There are some savings because of larger data chunks but we ended up using 8+3 and heal times are about half compared to 16+3. -Alastair On 30 June 2017 at 02:22, Serkan ?oban <cobanserkan at gmail.com>

I am using 3.7.11 and only problem is slow rebuild time when a disk fails. It takes 8 days to heal a 8TB disk.(This might be related with my EC configuration 16+4) 3.9+ versions has some

Did you test healing by increasing disperse.shd-max-threads? What is your heal times per brick now? installing fastercsv into vendor directory
I am using fastercsv to process input files. I want to install it into my app/vendor directory as a gem (I guess). I used ''rake rails:freeze:gems'' to get rails into the vender dir. But I cannot find any doc on how to do it for fastercsv or any third-party gem. Any help appreciated. -- Posted via http://www.ruby-forum.com/.

freezing to Rails 1.0 for a production site
Hi, I have a shared web hosting account. Currently the hosting company has Rails 1.0 but I''m sure they will upgrade to Rails 1.1 sometime soon. I don''t want my site to break if anything with Rails 1.1 will cause a break. How do I freeze my app to Rails 1.0? I imagine I download the rails source into the vendor directory. But from where to download and how to configure my app to

superclass mismatch for class OrderedOptions
I have Rails 1.1.2 installed and froze my app to 1.0 by checking it out into the vender directory. Maybe it''s coincidence, but now when trying to do rake migrate I get this: > rake migrate --trace (in /home/beet/workspace/) rake aborted! superclass mismatch for class OrderedOptions /usr/lib/ruby/gems/1.8/gems/activesupport-1.3.1/lib/active_support/ordered_options.rb:27

Test de Quade
Hola a todos, Acudo a vosotros después de darle muchas vueltas al tema en Internet y no localizar la solución para algo que creo trivial. Necesito aplicar el test de Quade a un conjunto de datos en el que existe más de una covariable. El ejemplo de dicho test en R es el siguiente: ## Conover (1999, p. 375f): ## Numbers of five brands of a new hand lotion sold in seven stores ## during one week. y

Tools/mechanisms for the management of access permissions in big filebased datasets
Hello, we are currently managing access permissions through classical user-group-others permissions on a multi-petabyte directory tree with partially very deep and broad directories. Projects are represented by directory trees and mapped through GIDs. Lately we had lots of "singular" permission request (one single user needs access to a single dataset but should not be able to

Activesupport error on start - extract_options
I''m trying to get Rails up and running on a new port of Ruby to Arm/WinCE devices that I''ve been working on, built using CEGCC tools for ''mostly'' Posix compatability, rather than using the existing Ruby WinCE binaries. Ruby runs and is installed under \ruby in root of the device itself. I''ve edited the following files of a default Rails 2.0.2 *zip*

Pull call out of queue
Trying to figure out the best way to pull an active call out of a queue by unique id and put it on hold. I don't want to put it on hold on the agent's phone but I want it to be pulled away from the agent's phone and into Asterisk limbo somewhere. Shortly after I want to pull the same call out of limbo and redirect it back to either the same agent or another. I was thinking about call
