Persistent storage for docker containers from a Gluster volume
Hi, glusterFS is working fine for large files (in most of the cases it's used for VM image store), with docker you'll generate bunch of small size files and if you want to have a good performance may be look in [1] and [2]. Also two node replica is a bit dangerous in case of high load with small files there is a good risk of split brain situation, therefore think about arbiter

Golang packages in virt7-docker-common repo
Hi, This email is regarding golang-* packages and their repository. As kubernetes package is now updated in virt7-docker-common-* repo, it was discussed that all the golang-* packages should also go under the virt7-docker-common-* repo as well, presently they all are in virt7-testing repo. Also about package flannel, it is presently updated in virt7-testing repo. This package is used with

Redis db permission issue while running GitLab in Kubernetes with Gluster
Hello, I am trying to setup GitLab, Redis and PostgreSQL containers in Kubernetes using Gluster for persistence. GlusterFS nodes are setup on machines (CentOS) external to Kubernetes cluster (running on RancherOS host). Issue is that when GitLab tries starting up, the login page doesn't load. It's a fresh setup and not something that stopped working now. root at

Persistent storage for docker containers from a Gluster volume
Hello, I have a two node replica 3.8 GlusterFS cluster and am trying to find out the best way to use a GlusterFS volume as persistent storage for docker containers to store their data (e.g. web assets). I was thinking that the simplest method would be to mount my GlusterFS volume for that purpose on all docker nodes using FUSE and then simply start containers which require persistent storage with

[Virt SIG] status of virt7-docker repository?
Hi, I'm considering to add virt7-docker repository as a dependency for the openstack repo from Cloud SIG. It seems that it's not consumable yet and some packages like Kubernetes are outdated. Could you update me with the current status and if there is anything we can do to help? Regards, H.
