Mailserver + Samba4
Hi,
I want to install a dovecot mail server with postfix. And want to be able to use kerberos for authentication. Has someone experience with this. And maybe some links to info.
Is there also someone with experience with SoGo?

The only problem is that I don?t get it working.

Acl not working
Hi I have a share running on a domain member. My domain root user is linked to the domain Administrator (user map).
When I go on windows to the share as Administrator I can access it. Then I change the acl settings. I give domain users access to the share. For some reason the changes are not visible on the unix system getfacl returns:
root at dna:/data# getfacl /data/share/

Hi I have some problems with setting permissions on my share. I think it has to do that I didn?t configure this
If you use the winbind 'ad' backend on Unix domain members and you add a gidNumber attribute to the Domain Admins group in AD, you will break the mapping in idmap.ldb. Domain Admins is mapped as ID_TYPE_BOTH in idmap.ldb, this is to allow the group to own files in Sysvol on a

SSL 143/notls stuff
Hi Everyone,
Just trying to work out how totally disable SSL/TLS support on port 143
while enabling SSL support on port 993
In the config file when I comment out the setting "ssl_disable = yes", I
have Webmail client that will no longer be able to auth against port
143, Now I can get the Webmail client to sort of work via using the
setting the port to "143/notls" but the main

View Specs vs. Stories
Do RSpec stories make view specs redundant? Does anybody spec their
views *and* use stories, and if so how?
Any views (no pun intended) appreciated.
~ Thanks

VPN
I have a samba server running as an active domaincontroller. I want people in an other office building to use the same samba server. What is the best way to do this? Use a second domain controller. Vpn to first domain controller. (Using an Mikrotik router). And how can you configure windows to use the vpn at startup?

I am trying to join an existing samba server but I get an error message that the DNS update failed. I have read that this doesn?t matter and the join is still successful. But the problem comes when I try to grant privileges to the unix admins.

Local Moran's I / Getis and Ord and Rousseauw Cluster Algorithms
Sorry for the repetition, unless I've got bad deja vu this questions been
asked before but I couldn't turn up an answer on CRAN. Is there already
any code in existence for local dependence measures such as Moran's I or
Getis and Ord G?
Also, S-Plus has a number of interstingly named Cluster Algorithms based on
some previous stand-alone fortran algorithms (agnes, daisy etc.) which

LLVM Pass Managers
Hi Philip,
Thank you for your reply. So what would be the right way/API to write
out-of-tree pass? I've been using *PassManagerBuilder*, which requires a
callback refering to *legacy::PassManagerBase*, so I guess this will be no
longer the good way to go?

S4 classes and objects -- fixed structure? No...
Hello.
Suppose you define a new S4-class, say
> setClass("track", representation(x="numeric", y="numeric"))
Don't worry if you have a deja vu, it's from the help page.
Your new class is said to have a fixed structure: two slots, x, and y,
and that should apply to all objects you construct as members of that class.

Hi Son,
PassManagerBuilder is used to populate legacy PassManagers. That role is
taken over by PassBuilder for new-PM passes.
Cheers,
