PFsense via Samba Authentication Server -> ERROR! ldap_get_groups() could not bind
I followed the instructions on the OpenVPN site for creating the bind user: https://openvpn.net/vpn-server-resources/openvpn-access-server-on-active-directory-via-ldap/#Create_and_configure_a_bind_user Following this procedure creates a user, but does not assign it to any security group other than "Domain Users" as described on the site. The bind works sometimes. I can not track down

Problem with lmtp proxy
Hello everyone, I have set up postfix to deliver mails to dovecot (2.0.16) using LMTP. On the other hand, I've successfully configured the IMAP proxy setting in dovecot in order to be able to distribute mailboxes among different servers. I wanted to do the same proxy at LMTP level, but it's not working. If I put lmtp_proxy = no, then everything works ok (assuming the mailbox is local),

CentOS Digest, Vol 57, Issue 14
Thanks for the responses. I think this is what I want to do. I commented out #Defaults requiretty in /etc/sudo. But what I really wanted to do was just place it in VPNUSERS: %vpnusers ALL=NOPASSWD: /sbin/service myciscovpn start, \ /sbin/service myciscovpn stop, \ /sbin/service myciscovpn status, \ /usr/bin/mycisco,

Configuring Dovecot for use with Active Directory
Hello, My server is configured as follows: FreeBSD 6.1 OpenLDAP 2.3.27 Cyrus SASL 2.1.21 Dovecot 1.0.rc15 I have PostFix configured to use SASL for SMTP AUTH, which in turn leverages OpenLDAP to verify users in Active Directory. I do not have, nor want to in the future, local users in FreeBSD, so I've configured PostFix for Virtual Mailboxes. Everything is working and I'm getting

Running opt O1 outside of llvm
Hi, I would like to run the -O1 pass sequence followed by -reg2mem from an out of tree project which uses llvm. I am using the following code snippet to do so but in some cases, my method is also vectorising the code, which doesn't happen when running the same sequence(-S -O1 -reg2mem) through opt. Can someone please help me find what I am missing? Thanks, Akash. *

Systemd, PHP-FPM, and /cgi-bin scripts
CentOS 7 server and Fedora 29 dev workstation, both with PHP 7.2, Apache 2.4, php-fpm, all updated. I have a web-based app I've been developing for some time, and recently the need to upload files of large size EG 1 GB or larger, has come up. So I wrote a /cgi-bin script that works, takes the input, and even runs the same application framework as the main application which normally

Is decoupling Apache + PHP into separate nodes possible?
<preamble> I have deployed Linux/Apache/PHP (node1) + MySQL (node2) with Security Groups (AWS) or iptables controlling who can connect to the MySQL server. In topology terms -- a 2 Tier architecture. In AWS - one can deploy several such instances behind a ELB. Each LAP instance talks to a MySQL RDS. The LAP instances are either mod_php or PHP-FPM. OS -- CentOS, Ubuntu. Debian

[LLVMdev] strange behaviour after extracting optimization pass code
Hi, I am expieriencing strange behaviour of llvm's optimization passes and I don't understand what I am doing wrong. Basically all I've done is extracting code for optimization of a llvm-function in a llvm-module and put it into a separate function for better readability. The original code looks like follows (and works as expected): ----------------------------- std::string
