I suggest you read : http://www.scomgod.com/?p=155 On the SQL server, to add the SPN, use: setspn ?A <SPN> <Account> Example: setspn -A MSSQLSvc/SCMVPSCOM01.test.COM:1433 TEST\SVCACCOUNT Does the SQL server has an A and PTR record in the DNS? Do verify that. And there is bit more explained .

What Samba version are you using? I have seen a similar problem triggered by connectivity issues between the DCs. What's the output from samba-tool drs showrepl? Still, I haven't found a solution... Samba suddenly restart and replication does not works anymore

Dead Domain Controller server

Samba4 as BDC on a Win2003 AD_PDC
HI, I have a Windows 2003 as AD PDC. My intention is disable this Windows and use Samba4 instead. I have compiled Samba 4.1.12 on Debian 7 without problems.
