Win32-ole start
Hi all, Since I didn''t get any takers on the win32-ole rewrite I thought I''d take a stab at starting it. Here''s what I''ve got so far (along with some extra constants in Windows::COM only in CVS), but the call to CoCreateInstance() isn''t working. I''m not sure if I''m dealing with the IDispatch interface properly: # win32/ole.rb require

MSHTML Not working for me
Hi, I'm using wine-0.9.13, installed from git. The following file exists in my system: /usr/share/wine/gecko/wine_gecko-0.9.0.cab The gecko libraries are installed in ~/.wine/drive_c/windows/gecko/0.9.0/wine_gecko Whenever I run wine iexplore.exe, I receive the message "HTML rendering is currently disabled" Anyone have any ideas as to what I can do next to make this work?

Need some help with pure Ruby win32-changenotify
Hi all, I know it''s deprecated, but people seem to still be using win32-changenotify, so I thought I''d see if I could make it pure Ruby. Also, I thought it would be a good opportunity to test passing a custom Win32::Event object. I''m mostly done I think, but I''m having trouble unraveling the FILE_NOTIFY_INFORMATION struct buffer. Please check out the

Microsoft RTC Client SDK with Asterisk
I'm using the the Microsoft Real-Time Communications Client API SDK using Visual Studio 6 and . NET 2003 SE to make SIP calls. Using the examples provided I can make unregistered SIP calls fine, however I am having trouble registering with Asterisk. I have to produce an XML Profile to use when registering with a registrar. The one I use is... <provision

getting started
I am giving serious consideration to abandoning waveOut multimedia and the wav format, for most of the audio in my C++/MFC project. However, I've never done any programming with a codec, and I still can't see how to step into Ogg Vorbis. If I convert all my wav files to ogg, there seem to be two major issues I'm facing: 1) What exactly will I replace my waveOut functions with? 2)

Sorry, but it seems everytime I setup a different rsync operation (client only) I end up here unraveling the include/exclude stuff I need. The documentation is quite good but I guess the subject is just quite a bit to chew. To cut to the chase: I want to sync up my own snapshot repository of openbsd. The basic install files. Do subroutines need their own h extension?
Hi all, According to the documentation ( http://www.voip-info.org/wiki/view/Asterisk+h+extension): Be aware: Macros require their own h extension as they do not make use of the calling context's h extension! Does this apply to subroutines too? I am unable to find the corresponding explanation. If not: what happens when a call is hanged-up during the execution of a subroutine? Is the h
