Internal DNS migrate to Bind9_DLZ
Hello,
I hope that someone can perhaps assist me or just guide me in the right
direction.
I've been following all the steps for setting up and migrating my Samba
Internal DNS to Bind9_DLZ.
https://wiki.samba.org/index.php/Setting_up_a_BIND_DNS_Server
https://wiki.samba.org/index.php/BIND9_DLZ_DNS_Back_End
But this doesn't seem to work for me, I can get bind started up 100% when I

FW: Internal DNS migrate to Bind9_DLZ
Hai,
I've checked out the log you send and i re-read the complete thread.
Based on thats done and what i did see in you logs now, looks like a * (wildcard) entry is giving the problem.
But i am not sure of that, the wildcard bugs should be fixed, when i look in bugzilla. (#10435 #12952 )
I've forwarded the mail to Rowland also before we go throw things at you again. ;-)

samba_dlz Failed to configure reverse zone
Dear Rowland ,
Just keep in mind that the Debian RPI maintated by rasperry.org PI fellows and _not_ mainly by the Mainsteam debian
pkg maintainers, and ways behind the main distro - allmost.

Some strange errors in logs
Hai,
cat "/var/lib/samba/private/named.conf" also please.
And check if the correct bind9_dlz is enabled.
dpkg -l | grep bind9
Jessie, should be 9.9
Stretch should be 9.10
If this server was upgraded then you need to manualy adjust the file above.
Looks to my bind9-dlz is enable in smb.conf but not loaded.
cat /var/log/daemon.log | grep dlz
You should see thing like:
samba_dlz:

Some strange errors in logs
+1 "penny" :-) :-) for my thoughts.. :-p
But yes, that should fix it.
I also suggest, review your logs, you wil notice more messages.
Rsyslog/apt/snmp/postfix/ntp need manual changes after the upgrade.
At least these, maybe more but these are the one i've encountered.

Samba 4.7.2 + bind on Fedora 27: samba_dlz: spnego update failed
I have setup on Fedora 27 server a AD-DC samba server + bind + dhcp.
All seem work fine: I can join to domain, add/remove dns records with
samba-tools, access to shared folder, use MS Management Console on

But when I join a new machine Samba winbind Member server to domain
