ldapsam cannot find NT password hash
Hello!
I've been digging at this one for several days now, and haven't been
able to figure out what's going on. Google searches haven't been
particularly helpful, so maybe I am searching the wrong words.
My LDAP server has the proper schema, and I have an attribute for my
user: https://imgur.com/VRbM7s9 (yeah I know the password hash is there,
but I don't care, because this

ldapsam cannot find NT password hash
Most of this is generated by FreeNAS's gui, so I'll have to figure out
how to override it. I know where the file is, but I don't know if
changes I make to it will actually stick, but that's for a different
forum :)
Just curious, since I appear to be running a PDC, is there a way to have
a standalone samba server, and just get the user/password information
from LDAP without doing

Unable to add a particular member to group (Samba 4.6.3)
This is the case for this user too... Could it be that Samba is trying

Unable to add a particular member to group (Samba 4.6.3)
The user exists in AD:
- I can see the user using 'wbinfo', 'samba-tool user list'
- I can add the user to a group with 'Active Directory Users and
Computers' in Windows 2008R2
- It's seems impossible to use 'samba-tool group addmembers foogroup
foouser'
I looked at the user's attributes but can't find anything different from
any other user that

OK, you are running Samba as an NT4-style PDC, though you don't seem to
think so, because you have 'server role = member server', so I would
remove the 'server role' line.
I would change 'server min protocol = SMB2_02' to 'server min protocol =
