frequent core dumps (invalid lock_order?)
Hi, I'm hoping somebody can point me in the right direction. My samba version is samba-4.2.10-6.2.el7_2.x86_64. I have lots of daily core dumps (~20 on each machine daily) and I have no clear idea why. I'm including the stack trace below. It looks like the problem is related to "invalid lock_order". Any ideas? Thanks, Sergei #0 0x00007fc5a34945f7 in raise () from

Re: Intermittent "internal error: signal 11" with 3.0.24
Hi all Follow up to this post, as it didn't seem to go through the first time. We have a common problem occurring with our Samba setups. We run 3 (identical) processing environments that each contain a Samba host sharing approx .5TB of data to 6 Wintel machines. Normally these hosts operate fine, though we intermittently experience a Samba panic (intermittent = every 2-3 days) as per below.

"Close_remove_share_mode: Could not get share mode lock for file..."
Hey folks... I'm using the Redhat Samba package (samba-3.0.33-3.15.el5_4.1) and I'm having a problem with one specific user. When she opens a project for her program, there are several shape files which need to open. Unfortunately, performance is EXTREMELY slow for her; everyone else who accesses the project can open it up quickly and normally. A tail of /var/log/samba/<IP

Contrary to the examples shown in the Sweave Manual in which table already constructed by R are "exported" on Latex files, what I would like to do is to build a table in which I combine text and

Problem installing Printer-Drivers (solved)
This is just a information in case somebody runs into the same issue: I was unable to upload drivers to a samba-server (3.0.28a and 3.0.29) via the windows add printer wizard. The driver files started uploading, then processing stopped saying the driver is not compatible to windows xp. In the logs the following message popped up. However some files could be copied: [2008/05/27 10:30:09, 0]
