[PATCH v2] xen-netback: add a pseudo pps rate limit
VM traffic is already limited by a throughput limit, but there is no control over the maximum packet per second (PPS). In DDOS attack the major issue is rather PPS than throughput. With provider offering more bandwidth to VMs, it becames easy to coordinate a massive attack using VMs. Example: 100Mbits ~ 200kpps using 64B packets. This patch provides a new option to limit VMs maximum packets per

The regular map.resources :gifts map.resources :wishlists map.resources :invitations map.resources :comments does not work. How to set minimum size of accepted rsa key
Hi eveyone, Is there a way to set the minimum size accepted by sshd as an RSA public key? I want to restrict users to using RSA keys that are generated with ssh-keygen -b 2048 or greater. I didn't see any option in sshd_config. There is a ServerKeyBits option, but that seems to apply only for SSHv1. Please help me and provide your response. Thanks in advance. Regards Ravi Pratap

creating read/write files for everyone from a SAMBA client
Can anyone tell me what to include or change in my 'smb.conf' files to enable anyone accessing a 'SAMBA' server share to have '777' permissions for directories, and '666' permissions on files they create, move or copy there? I have two SAMBA servers running; one on an IRIX machine and the other on a 'Linux' machine in a LAN environment. The folks on the

Samab 3.0.6 problems
Running on a Debian server, 3.0r Sid, 2.4.18 kernel. I recently did an apt-get upgrade which upgraded samba from 3.0.5 to 3.0.6 After this upgrade, access to all shares for all users slowed to a crawl. It was possible to browse the folders, to 3-4 folders deep but then Explorer would freeze on the client.Opening files failed. Copying files locally resulted in corrupt files. Clients included

NTP and FreeBSD jails
FreeBSD-12.1p7 Samab-4.10.15 running in FreeBSD Jail I just wish to ensure that my conclusion respecting Samba, FreeBSD Jails, and NTP is correct. 1. Unless configured otherwise Windows domain clients will query and obtain their time from the samba_server DC. 2. Samba_server obtains its time from the OS, in this case a FreeBSD Jail. 3. FreeBSD Jails get their time from their host. 4. If

smpasswd
Hi, I have just installed samba-3.0.22 and copied my smb.conf across from my previous version on the same machine. With my previous version I never had to run smbpasswd -a username. It would do the authentication from /etc/passwd. ie when I added someone as a user with useradd they would automatically be able to mount samab shares. I am now having to add all my users with smbpasswd. I

Strange provisioning error - I really expect an answer
Hello All, I'm trying to contribute with my tests and continuous attempts to install and stress-test samba, but it gets really sad and frustrating finding out that no one answers. I know a lot of "we do this for free", "we do this in our free time", "wait longer for an answer" and that will come, save some typing and please, do not reply with that. I've

SIP Peers unreachable
Hi Everyone, I'm new to * and I'm trying to setup a small configuration of SIP clients. Eventually when I get this working I plan on expanding with a Digium developers kit to add analog phones and PSTN access. My two end points are an Xten softphone and a Mitel 5055 SIP phone. Both peers seem to register with * but I cannot call to one another. When I dial the associated extension, the
