Failing to join existing AD as DC
I tried joining the same AD before and succeeded, however after upgrading to Debian Buster and installing AD Certificate Services on the Windows DC my join does not work anymore:
samba-tool domain join samdom.example.com DC -U?SAMDOM\adadmin? ?site=?KA-H9?
fails during the ldap part with:
Join failed - cleaning up

Failing to join existing AD as DC
Hai,
?
From what i see below.
?
kinit that should work, or error in krb5.conf or resolv.conf.
What is the first resolver in resolv.conf and is samba configured with internal DNS or Bind9_DLZ?
?
This is in /etc/ldap/ldap.conf
TLS_CACERT????? /etc/ssl/certs/ca-certificates.crt
TLS_REQCERT allow
?
cp /var/lib/samba/private/krb5.conf /etc/krb5.conf
not really needed, but it does not hurt.
?

Can you try this:
kinit Administrator
samba-tool domain join samdom.example.com DC --site=?KA-H9? -k yes
If that isnt working..
Post output of :
cat /etc/ldap/ldap.conf
And tell me how did you setup your ssl certificates on this server.

WG: Dom0 kernel crashes when dom0_mem= is used!
I tried for a couple of times to add an information that might help you with regard to Bug #603713 by sending mailto "603713 at bugs.debian.org" But it never appeared there - so I try to let you know how to work around that bug this way. If you decide not to take this mail into account I won't bother you any more

CentOS5 + 2.6.32.15 PVOPS x86_32 PAE/xen 4rc6 stalls at boot
Hi,
It appears my Xen is stalling right before handing off control to the
dom0 kernel. I would appreciate any pointers on where to look next,
since I''ve already spent a considerable amount of time trying to
figure this one out and nothing turns up. One small detail, with my
previous .config, I wasn''t seeing the 4 "(XEN) MCE: MSR 417 is not

Hypervisor hangs on startup
Hi!
We have a problem that the dom0 very often does not boot and hangs in
the hypervisor - see screenshot. The last message is:
(XEN) Dom0 has maximum 16 VCPUs
(afterwards xen should overwrite the memory)
We are using the xen kernel from kernel.org git.
Kernel is 2.6.32.24-xen with Xen 4.0.1
Hardware is HP DL380.
Is this a known problem? Any hints what could be the problem and how we
can

Weird network performance behaviour?
I'm recording TCP network throughput performance between Dom0 IP stack and all my guest domains (currently 6 running simultaneously). All guests are running simultaneously, but I only ever transmit between Dom0 and one of the DomUs while the other five are idle.
When running a netperf TCP_STREAM test (netperf on Dom0, netserver on DomU) I record the following performance numbers, CPU % as
