Sysvol replication between DC
Hi,
I would like to know which the best way to replicate Sysvol between my DC
Samba 4 is with Rsync/Osync, as per the article below?
https://wiki.samba.org/index.php/Bidirectional_Rsync/osync_based_SysVol_replication_workaround
I have 3 Samba 4 DC.

OK, sorry.
Now is working properly.
I'm copying the Windows files to Samba4 and I'm not able to copy the NTFS
security information. In the logs it states that the destination is not an
NTFS system.

Administrator exists and marcio too. Passwords is correct:
samba-tool fsmo transfer --role=domaindns -Uadministrator
* The 'domaindns' role does not have an FSMO roleowner
samba-tool fsmo transfer --role=domaindns -'U administrator'

Replication between Samba 4 DC are OK.
However, sometimes problems arise between Windows Server 2008 and Samba 4
records, usually related to attributes of 2 or 3 specific computers.
I edit the Samba registry with ldbedit and everything is OK. After a

Error Demoting DC Windows from Domain
Hi,
I have jointed 2 Samba 4 servers in my domain and transferred FSMO roles to
the primary Samba 4 server.
I have verified that the Samba 4 servers are OK, but I am having trouble
removing the latest DC Windows Server 2008.
It reports that there is no other DC to transfer data from the directory DC

Sysvol replication between DC
Hi,
I have followed the guidelines outlined in the article:
https://wiki.samba.org/index.php/Joining_a_Samba_DC_to_an_Existing_Active_Directory#Built-in_User_.26_Group_ID_Mappings
.
I had a doubt:
When I ran the tdbbackup -s .bak command idmap.ldb which is 2MB generated a
720k-sized idmap.ldb.bak file.
I have stopped the samba service on CD 2, replaced the idmap.ldb file with
idmap.ldb.bak,

Erros in Samba 4 DC
Hi,
>Are you using Bind9, if so, post your named.conf files (the ones from
/etc/bind)
No, I'm using DNS Internal.
>Is winbind installed ?
No, because the Samba tutorial said that for DC it was not necessary.

synchronization problem between DC
Hi,
I have noticed that there are problems synchronizing between DC Primary
Samba 4 and DC Secondary Windows Server 2008. I have already fixed the
issue with the ldbedit command and everything was fine. Over time
inconsistencies occur between the DCs again, as shown below:
samba-tool ldapcmp ldap://WIN-DC1 ldap://SAMBA4-DC -UAdministrator

include in smb.conf
Hi
I implemented a Samba 4 file server on Debian 10 and would like to put the
sharing of users' personal folders (are 470) in a separate file from
smb.conf to avoid directly manipulating the smb.conf file to create new
shares. So, I would like to know if it is correct to put an include
directive at the end of the file?
Ex:
include = / etc / samba / users.list

Just so you know what was wrong.
