Update 4.10.2 to 4.10.4: Cant create files in subdirectorie anymore
Hi everyone, since i upgraded from 4.10.2 to 4.10.4 i can't write into subdirectories of a share anymore. This worked perfectly fine before i upgraded and also works again if i downgrade.? I think either something is fishy with the 'filename_convert_internal' function of ".../source3/smbd/filename.c" or my configuration needs to be adjusted for 4.10.4. I tried several

cant do it in CLI anymore?
Hi Floks, This is probably really dumb but here goes: I used to be able to place calls to my SIP phones from the CLI using the 'Dial' command for testing. I have installed asterisk on a new machine and copied over the .confs and started it up. It all works fine. But when I try to initiate a call from the CLI using 'Dial' it just says: *CLI> Dial No such command

complex plots using layout()
Dear r-help, I am trying to plot several scatter plots with marginal histograms on one page. Ideally, a page is equally divided into 4 figure regions. Within each figure region, a scatter plot with marginal histograms will be plotted. I followed Dr. Paul Murrell's code released online to successfully plot the scatter plot with marginal histograms. The code applies "layout()" to

interpreting coxph results
I am having trouble understanding results I'm getting back from coxph doing a recurrent event analysis. I've included the model below and the summary. In some cases, with minor variations, the Robust variance and Wald tests are significant, but the individual covariates may or may not be significant. My main question is: If Wald and robust tests both take into account the

ow ow .. slapping myself.. I forgot my note about the VERSION file.. That you see this : Version 4.10.2-Ubuntu is because i use a Ubuntu as base for the 4.10 builds. I'll correct that, but there is no difference in the packages once this is corrected back to Version 4.10.2-Debian. It just a "version-name" Greetz, Louis ________________________________ Van: Martin

Dovecot LMTP rejecting mail from address with apostrophe
Hi, I have an OpenSMTPD / Dovecot installation on an OpenBSD server. I recently came across an issue where Dovecot LMTP would reject a message sent to a local user from an address which contains a single apostrophe (e.g. firstname.o'lastname at example.com). Apparently apostrophe, as well as a number of other special characters, are valid characters in the local part of the email address

cutting corners (4.10.2 on el7.6)
Hi Garming, Thanks for taking the time to enlighten me. I do happen to have two DC's and in my limited testing, 4.10.2 seems to function properly as an AD/DC on el7.6 with the packages I built. As I'm not using those DC's for file serving in a clustered setup, it is also my interpretation that I can do without ctdb (this one had a specific requirement for a higher version of a

Is transport=rdma tested with "stripe"?
> Note that "stripe" is not tested much and practically unmaintained. Ah, this was what I suspected. Understood. I'll be happy with "shard". Having said that, "stripe" works fine with transport=tcp. The failure reproduces with just 2 RDMA servers (with InfiniBand), one of those acts also as a client. I looked into logs. I paste lengthy logs below with

Can't heal a volume: "Please check if all brick processes are running."
Hi Anatoliy, The heal command is basically used to heal any mismatching contents between replica copies of the files. For the command "gluster volume heal <volname>" to succeed, you should have the self-heal-daemon running, which is true only if your volume is of type replicate/disperse. In your case you have a plain distribute volume where you do not store the replica of any
