Compressed archives randomly corrupted on a Linux share
Hi, We have a NAS server with OpenMediaVault on a Debian system. Mainly we work directly with documents from the LibreOffice and Office tools. Sometimes we note at the opening of a LO document that the file is corrupted and not repairable. We know LO documents are a bunch of files embeded in a compressed ZIP archive. The most of time we can repair them in replacing the corrupted elements

Connecting with Windows 10???
Samba Guru's, As a point of clarification in our Samba setup... We are currently running Samba 4.3.11 on Ubuntu Server 16.04. When running smbstatus it shows the following... Windows 7 machines connect showing SMB2_10. Windows 10 machines connect showing Unknown (0x0311). Supposedly Windows 10 machines should show SMB3_11. Curious if they are connecting correctly and/or if changes

It COULD be related, and I think we ended up downgrading the kernel to 4.9. https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=198349#c42 But I've since upgraded to OMV 6+ without any problems.

I don't have any lines in my configuration file for any of the servers, how can I tell what the default protocols are? Are the defaults controlled by samba or the kernel? smbd process don't auto close
Recently I find the smbd process does not close itself even it is invalid, or it close too slow. As the screenshot shows, the connection 112451 and 112844 were created because of the client 8.22.32.200 at Sep 27 02:52:11. And it still exist now at 15:30. But clearly 8.22.32.200 is not available any more. This VM was disabled by me early. The samba version is 4.5.16. Does the smbd process not
